My 15 year old Rheem storage heater started leaking. It was fine when I moved in last year. I got a plumber to have a look and he said that water leak from the tank, not the piping. He also said that the tank is corroded. He told me to get a new storage heater, but has to be the same brand. Really? Mine is a verticle tank, can't I get other brands that also has verticle tank with two outlet at the side?

I initiall gotten a quote from AE at IMM through email, but a few days later, AE from balestier responded to my email too, and quote a slightly higher price than the one from IMM. I would expect both to quote the same price. that said, sales person from both store area very nice and knowledgeable. I didn't get anything from them because I got a much lower price from Royal Fanco.

Does anyone know what is included in the acid/general wash by the contractor after renovation? I am thinking of hiring cleaning services, but not sure if it is redundant since acid/general wash is included in the reno package.

just notice that on my new kitchen cabinet, the joining part between two sides of the laminate is not seamless. I am using the Tak nude core glossy,so the edges is suppose to be the same color as the laminate itself. but shouldn't the joining bits of two laminates be seamless? or this is regarded as poor workmanship?
