I oso think under mount is the best. But duno y my ID oso recommend top mount. Says easier to change basin next time. This makes me wonder. Who have changed basin before during their days living in the flat ? I remembered mine always last more the 1 decade. Still doing fine ! That is so unlikely there will be a time to change a basin. So y i need to do a top mount ? Will have ugly silicon finishing which later in the yrs might scrapped off bit by bit and leak ? So y not get a under mount which will look way nicer. No need worry water seeping in from top. if you have good quality kitchen top even better. Shows the good workmanship of the cuttings some more.

Toilets ! The piping is done ! Common Toilet Quite sad the piping all is in common toilet. No choice i want my MBR to look pipe less so all run in from here. MBR Toilet The results is this ! Just a nice mixer on the wall Pipe lines For my Hand spray and tap. This 1 no choice. Lucky most pipe lines are covered by the big pipe

8 July Fan Ceiling fan is up ! But my Lady aint very happy on the location >_< Seems too close to the windows actually. So she wanted the fan to move in another 2" which will be better. Right now KDK guy like not very happy with it coz he feel the fan position is the best. So he wana call my wife and explain. Wirings My electric guy use tubing inside to run the points in my reverse L box. At least looks neat n nice IMO

It is really good to have. I was in your gang resisting grilles, until i saw my nephews 5yrs olds and currently my dotter 2yrs old. So if can, I will lock my grilles and keep the keys somemore lol

I think most taps have standard size ? You might can change to other designs with longer stout. How come they place the tap like this ? If is me i sure @!~#@#@$ them upside down :X

Just installed the fan but right now no power yet =/ Coz change new wirings and now the wirings is hanging around without connecting to DB. My electrician very honest says he is not confident installing the fan. He oso scared later shaky. So my ID arranged with KDK agent to install it. So if later got problem i can ask them come down to rectify. Oh u like this color too ? hehehe I got it coz it match my grilles color

7July Finishing of tiles. Final tiling and touch up done today. I am pretty satisfied on the outlook atm. Cant be sure it is good coz still can not actually test the tiles for sturdiness. MBR Toilet Floor Pretty happy with ID proposal of embedded c channel and slope down to shower area. Looks really good in actual. The only con is there will be a possibility of little water seeping out from the shower screen door but hey, looks is more impt I can wipe a little damp area just outside of my shower screen anytime if it looks sleek n good. ^_^ Common Toilet wall Da*n ! How come i feel like the common toilet wall look better then MBR toilet ? Duno really is to be happy or sad sia.

Aiya coz they took a big chunk outta us lo. We practically overhaul the whole hse so they seize the opportunity to do alot stuffs ! As such so my ID can make use of this chance to do up alot stuffs and show to her potential clients next time. Of coz she have to make sure she do really nicely for my home and of coz some freebies and stuffs to console me la hehehe. Well only abit cheaper. Now i having some displeasure with the store i bought the lights with Last minute told me my KDK V56VK no stock and only arrive in end of this mth.... my ID was planning to install it tmr ! But since it is porous material, you need to remembered keep it dry. Sealant is to prevent the granite to absorb the fluid but think need to reapply every fews yrs. Abo it will actually hmmm absorb water. Imagine the fluid is smelly/dirty water...... then the granite top will turn into a smelly top :X

Yah not cheap oso -__- Pcitures come out I think still lose to you guys granite leh T_T coz the color sure not as nice as granite 1 lol. Only good point is no need maintenence ba Initially i oso wanted black galaxy. But like every1 doing granite top sure use that sia. So i thinking something diff and wanted blue pearl. Coz very nice too ! However i oso think the color wont fit in my kitchen theme oso ahahaha ! Wah ptbgal using white pearl ? so fierce ah ! Granite is porous material wor. If not maintain it well it will absorb the liquid and might stain the top de wor.

Yah the pain really hurt alot lol ! I itchy itchy read about quartz, the thread about silestone in reno. So quite interested in the material since very much like granite. tough and durable but non porous like solid top. Only problem is color not as pretty as granite lo. But the properties of being maintenence free.... so i adventurous abit ask ID to source this material as my kitchen/vanity top. ^_^; Prayign hard this quartz dont fail me sia.... :X

Best is have a back up plan lo. Always good to be prepared then never ma Coz ID HO date not always jun 1. See in forum oreali have quite a few folks suffered that ordeal and some even have to rent a temp place to live. So best is to chop chop a place to stay temp if suay suay hse not ready yet. This is only just in case la. Of coz ideally is everything progress swee swee then can move in on time

Oh... If ur ID get whole team tiler to do the job. Actually 3 4 days can complete thw whole house 1. 5 weeks more or less can make it but I'm guessing most probably you guys might have to move in while our ID will be doing some final touch ups/rectify some areas.
