    I agree that as consumers should only make their purchase decisions after they are sure what they want to buy. Furniture companies cannot afford to change products especially special order items because very hard to sell and take up space.

    Genuine leather will peel only if it is defective. If it is 2 months old it will be covered under the lemon law. The seller is obliged to repair, replace or refund.

    As with all products, you will get what you pay for. $500 is very little, therefore quality very poor. A decent quality replica of the Barcelona chair will cost at least $1200.
