  5. Truth is it is never a good deal buying mattresses from mass merchandisers or department stores because they usually buy from the wholesaler and then put a high markup on the mattress before selling to consumers. Close door sales or card days are the best times to buy, it is a better deal than normal days but I wouldn't say it is a good deal. Good luck with your shopping.
  6. Go buy a Seahorse mattress. Same kind of price range but at least well-known.
  7. Then don't buy lah, so many well-known brands in the market.
  8. BEZ gallery already cost so money people so much money. Even note the same, do you want to risk your hard-earned money?
  9. Dear Householdguru, Why don't you buy something and provide a review? It seems you are really interested in this website and their mattresses. It also looks like your account is created just to talk about them.
  10. It really does not matter if it is good or not. It is an absolutely unknown brand, there are so many reputable brands out there so if I were you I would go buy something that has been around longer. Otherwise, it is like buying an Olena Mattress from Bez Gallery. It is an invitation to waste money.
  11. Perhaps you could search this forum for LaCaFa
  12. Dear Esthermonitor, I think you are over-reacting. All furniture and furnishings companies experience a spike of business right before CNY. They may have been a bit stubborn about delivering your items but they delivered. Compared to the other stories where consumers cannot even received anything at all, this seems trivial.
  13. Dear All, I have attached 2 links for people who are looking to buy a mattresses: http://www.themattressunderground.com/our-articles/major-mattress-manufacturers-top-15.html https://www.goodbed.com/mattress-reviews/ I am creating this thread because there are so many major brands of mattresses available in Singapore, there is no need for consumers to hunt down little known brands and risk their hard earned money just to save a few hundred dollars. I refer to the ongoing saga with Bez Mattress Gallery. In addition to the top US brands there are also many other reputable brands in Singapore. While it is true that top brands charge more, some mid-range brands are still very affordable. I understand that everyone has a budget but there is always a limit as to how cheap a manufacturer can produce a mattress without compromising quality. In my opinion, any pocketed spring mattress below $800 is just not worth buying because it is not possible. If you have a small budget just buy a standard bonnell spring mattress, there have been around a hundred years. So happy shopping but really stay away from well known brands. They are well known for a reason.
  14. Dear Vincent, You best strategy is to move forward your delivery ASAP. Cheers,
  15. Clearly, the company is in trouble. Here's the dilemma, if people continue to buy from them then perhaps the people that bought earlier may get their orders but eventually somebody will be left holding the bag. So to people considering buying from them, perhaps you may choose not to risk your hard-earned money. I suppose the best solution is to tell them that you will only pay a small deposit and then make full payment upon receiving the goods. That way, the company may stay in business and everybody gets their orders and nobody loses their deposits.
  16. Absolutely, it is not what it is made of, it is not how it is made, it is not who makes it. These things are not important at all, it is how the mattress works for you that matters. If you enjoy it then it is a good product.
  17. Why don't you get your refund first and then ask him to deliver then you pay him?
  18. The amount of Titanium is not published. It is probably impossible that it is 100% since my glasses have a tiny bit of Titanium and they cost $700. Sealy does not want to review percentage but probably not substantial otherwise they would have published a long time ago. On some websites it is claimed to be titanium-alloy infused, meaning it is not strictly speaking a Titanium alloy but it definitely contains Titanium. It is a big secret. Another thing you may want to know about Sealy is that in the US where they are originally from, they push pocketed spring mattresses but in Singapore they don't.
  19. The best way to be stunned by furniture is to install low shelves and cabinets at about 1.5m off the floor that way you will be stunned when you walk into them. This thread is just shameless self promotion. Nothing new just showing some random furniture images.
  20. Well really this is a civil case but collectively I think you can file a report to CAD if you can show that he is intentionally out to cheat you money.
  21. May I suggest you start another thread? It is good to know that some retailers do improve on their service and nice to see positive comments. By posting on this thread, you are probably scaring off potential customers.
