Post-renovation Day 009 - Some pictures after shifting in for a week plus. Tried our best to keep the place clean and tidy~ :3 Living room As to why curtains are tied in the middle, FSM said that window panel cannot open, thus it will be good to have curtains obscuring it.

Finally clean liaoz. Did alot of massaging (rubbing with sponge) using oils (CIF) leaving over time (1/2hr). Really scare me sia. The look of the stain prior to cleaning... now it is 98% gone lolx... I still spot a little discoloring but not really that visible to naked eye. Wah got gathering at newnyew's place~~~ bo jio`~~~

Tried rubbing on cif le. Maybe I didn't leave it on for sometime before rubbing it off What is MS? Magic sponge? I just left my washed frying pan overnight to dry nia >.> Must invest in a non-cheap frying pan le. That frying came with the ikea cheap pan package haiz >.> Should have gotten the 365+ series instead

It is very true. I've learnt quite a lot during my school days... like 3Dmax lah, bits of Maya lah, VisualBasic etc. Now never use at all I don't even know how to use them, although the fundamentals more or less still there. But then... if the job opening is for flash developer. The interviewees should expect flash to be the main medium of work mah. What for interview for flash developer when one doesn't even know flash to begin with

Reminds me of the time when I'm still working a day-job, my boss asked me to give the interviewees a small test to do before hiring them as flash developers. Many of them have impressive portfolios and work experience. So I gave them a simple task of creating a simple drag and drop script in flash, procedural or oop in a couple of hours. Many failed sadly, there is one who even ask me an hour later during the 'test', "Excuse me, how do you code in flash ah?" *slaps head*

Yep, also dependent on how much companies are willing to shell out also. I've seen quite a few ads with companies hiring experienced web designer/developer (3-5years) for a 1.8-2k salary. Sighz

Yeah... starting to feel that if we are slow to catch up on new technologies, we will be at the bottom of the chain liaoz. Wonder when i'm age 30++ can I still pick up a new language bo.. Now alot of comrades around lah. Our zeus company are quick to pick up the 'trends' de... eg. engineering boom in the 80s.. now we have tons of engineering diploma holders.... in 3-4years time you will see tons of creative industry people. They dun seem to know that the creative industry here is so freaking small.

I also dip holder T__________T even a general type degree is good for hunting admin jobs around 2k in salary = =.... general dip probably around 1.2-1.6?

Think everywhere now also 'bao sua~ bao hai~' liaoz. Haiz. Maybe that's why the zeus company want us to upgrade ourselves ba, sad i 'bo lui' to further my studies for a career change T_T

Icic, for me I too now 7years in web line after poly and NS lolx. In the end my main job switched from being a designer to a developer more. Nowadays I support web designers with their websites. Most of the time they don't know how to put their designs from PSD to xhtml/css, flash, cms templates. I'm the one bridging these gaps. But then these days I started to feel that it cannot last much longer, probably in 5years+ I'll need to find another job le.

I'm not that good either. In this kind of field the person have to be especially outstanding to survive with a good pay de.... the average will be like me earning just enough to meet ends nia. *Nekorin prays that he will continually have work so he can fund his new house~~* Yeah true.. if take away my qualifications in design/development.... what am I left with.. O levels with no other trained specialty. Really sianz >.>

it seems like you quit the line le? now change to what job? sometimes I too find that it is hard to stay very long in my line = =
