You are partially right but until you prove successful in proving.......sharp corners or shifting of table etc still exist as part of feng shui. There are thousands of fsm talking about sharp corners.....if you want to ignore, either you prove otherwise or this remains debatable. Your "apply" concept is of course generally practised and accepted. While there are some things which are not possible to be so easily categorise under feng shui a) "........not at the expense of others". Example: you are the developer of a building 'abc' in the way of 'gateway' or a building defined to have "sha". All fsms recommend you deflect away but around you are other buildings...... b) "........solve them". Eg, Which unsuccessful businessman didn't identify problems and try to solve them? Even the proper authorities and many big corporations are using feng shui to assist or remedy the problems. You think those 'big shots' or appointed high post graduates in authoritative departments don't know how to identify obstacles and 'try' to solve? If they are much successful in life and are using feng shui.....then it may mean Sun Zi method may not work all times and require "out of the box" methods. c) "Plan ahead.......". Example: You plan to have this job....can sure get it? You plan to have baby this year....can sure get it? You plan to have a peaceful discussion, can your colleagues or wife agree to it? You plan to have you safe trip.....but you still got an accident.....did the other driver agree to your planning on new years day? (don't mind I bring out your unforunate accident) Everyone can read many books , theories , fs principles and be very knowledgeble. What's the point professing about it when he doesn't know the secrets to it that "WORK"?

Aiyo, this is with reference to LT recommendations......eg "boost social life with feng shui", to put light in SW. Another is keep mandarin ducks here and there etc. Well you may laugh at it....I'm laughing too but those were the times many years ago.

Whether be it philosophy, ideology, theology, biography, facts and etc , all made money.......understand who is behind the scene?..... Author ? Publisher? or an organisation? Anything can be popularize.....don't you agree? Who knows one of these days a book on the 'rules' or practise of Qin Shi Huang' will be use to match the business ethics /

Haha....just kpo add one more......a philosopher always a philosopher, an auther always an authour!! How much truth is in the book or theory unless the author guarantees, swears by it and prove beyond doubt.......so I still say the same.......they make the money, we read for fun or keep guessing and trying.

When new, after reading LT bks.....thumbs up. Then pick up JY books....2 thumbs up......and at the end of the day.....work or not? Let me say my piece......only masters (I mean genuine effectives ones) know the secret......we only get the 'smell'. Do you think they write the secrets that work in a "book"?

There's a saying, "Those who teach are knowleedgeable but those who do (apply the knowledge themselves correctly) are the masters of life" Most of these teachers, once they are set on the road to teaching, most of the time are tied up to classes, prepararation, trips, talks, events, seminars and so on. Life experience? Heard that JY after graduated from Yap CH, split and only had about 2-3 years experience before he wrote his first book and that was basically aiming at correcting LT books. True? Of course, that was an instant success as English authors were badly needed.

This is the setback for many new into feng shui. I was as enthusiastic as into a religion but when you end up in the hands of a wrong master, confusion is like a disease......never stop. It lay some eggs in your brain and even when you come across the truth, you are still in a dilemma......sigh The funniest I went through was not fan. It was about sharp corners......I believed so much in the lady master and the 'book' (coincides with LT book) ending up for a period I have entered into a "sharp" phobia mode. Dodge here, dodge there........here cannot sit, there cannot sit......more of the time wasted on being wary of these issues .....badly distracted

My sincere comments.....ridiculous!! As you like to base on logic, we base on logic to reason. How can after 60 house fs not necessary anymore. Is that a personal opinion of him or from some fs script references? Either is still ridiculous. Worked so hard for many years will definitely have a need to keep money/ maintain money or keep health/ maintain health......which is what feng shui is all about. FS for house exist in the past cycles and still need to check in the future cycles. We need to enhance our wealth in order to maintain othrwise it will dwindle through inflation or devaluation of currencies (in case economy takes another downturn). In Singapore, unless multi-millionaire in cash, how to live off savings? CPF monthly pathetic distribution only enough to take bus and eat wet market veg noodles pr porridge.....not even enough to go food court nowadays. House feng shui is to help even at this age, don't you think so? Moreover health, if house feng shui not checked, affect health and take a downturn liaozzzzz, got saving also no use.....spend on medicals....no mood to enjoy.....pain here and there..... Kitchen can face anywhere depending on factors considered in your house feng shui. You need to get someone experience to advice you that. Nobody can comment on that when you house facing is not even known

Qi does not just enter through the door only. Are these from what you learn from your course master?
