hi newbie.. u stay in bedok? me too.. for the past few months, i was like u, jumping mad, sad, frustrated, feels so stupid, sleepness night, full of worries so much so that my family is affected, life is affected, health is affected. as i said earlier on, all our money is hard earned money. be it $100 or $1000 or $10,000. it is indeed our hardearned money. most of us here had gone tru what u had gone tru already and has come to a point that, give up hopes on him, finish our reno first then chase back the money... if u think he indeed has commited certain crimes, of course u can report him and let him get what he deserves.. wat i want to see is, u will move on with your reno. actually, there are some houses who are in the same situation as u, work things out with ah soon, ie. houseowners pay material and he supply labour... as u are still in the beginning stage of the reno, u still have a chance of completing the reno and not lossing much money. here's the example: u paid $10k. and u need to change the whole house tiles. in the quote, he charge u $15K for the whole house tiles. so u can consider to pay $5k to buy tiles and material and he will supply u the labour. (U BUY MATERIALS URSELF) this way, losses can be minimize. and once tiling work complete, u can go look for other contractor to do the remaining stuff. leave him. pls dun misunderstand i am speaking up for AS. this is jus another possibility that works for some. cus u can go ahead and sue him and do watever u deem fit. bottomline is, do u get back your money? frankly, not say impossible,very tough. if this is so, consider other alternatives, try to finish up or get as much as possible form AS labour. then later if he still owes u money (hopefully not alot), then u recover is easier.. jus my suggestions...

for my granite top, it is with a 40mm front profile. may i know what is the contractor price for this? cos the company that i went to told me he is charging me already contractor price... i was charged $110pfr, india black galaxy. cus if urs cheaper, i may cancel theirs. thanks

for mj case, if u are going to take care or be responsible for broken tiles in the event of dismantling the vanity. fair enuff. u need to factor in the extra cost needed to cover 'in the event of accident'... for ah seng, i paid him directly -in full. i not ony do my windows, i also do my 2 toilet shower screen n etc.. anyway $5 and $5.50 - how big is the difference to do the kitchen n mbr grilles? i really not sure why jesslyn was fly so many times aeroplane - mine was not an issue at all... in fact, he also did trevor house without any delay.. there was some fault on the sliding glass door, he also rectify immediately...there must be some reasons for delay for jesslyn side.... for me, to equally divide the money is fair. suggest all houseowners who is affected, to voice their wishes.. but if the money already spend on jesslyn, then no point talking about it.. sorry to u, i also duno wat came over me to start all these... i know u mean no harm. but i need to know that your intentions are indeed kind to us....i m saying it for the sake of every houseowner here...sorry but after ah soon incident, we became suspicious and maybe even over suspicious and overworrying n etc... the 'auto protect' function was executed... pls forgive me... cus under ah soon saga too long... ah soon make us become mean people ...

jaskel, i need to install 2 wc 2 rainshower 1 storage heater 3 basin (2 toilet n 1 kitchen) 2 bidet spray i was quoted 2 wc - $60each 2 rainshower -foc 1 storage heater -$60 3 basin (2 toilet n 1 kitchen)- $50x3 2 bidet spray -$10 each is this price ok? is this cheap? or u can get cheaper?

MJ told me u quoted her like $200 to dismantle her existing solid surface vanity. i only know one could dismantle it n get town council to dispose it for her. i told her to save that $200. i can help her to dismantle if i have the time. i did it for my old house, anyway. u cannot compare my windows quote with jesslyn. mine is aluminium windows whilst jesslyn's one is not. mine is just a SIMPLE aluminium windows-no flowers no design. a simple check u will know my price (ah seng quoted me), outside also can get one. U know it. $5psf. i only know u used $3000 to help jesslyn. other houseowners?? if u think u r fair, i rest my case. anyway i m stil glad at least u are not like ah soon. u finished jesslyn house and they can now happily move in.. i apologize to u if i have offended u in someways.. cus i also very stress up...

sorry i got to say this, besides myself, trevor n fini, fff, maryjane, and a few others all are suffering under the hands of AS. i am not saying $3k to spend on jesslyn house is wrong...(sorry jesslyn i am not against u, really) just that, all of us are in the same boat. who is not suffering?? i just felt that the money spend on ONLY jesslyn house is not too fair. that'S JUST my frank opinion. if my opinion is wrong, pls correct me... NOT FAIR

AS says he is going to provide me labour but all other things i have to pay myself. FINE! does the labour really comes to me? i duno.??!! i trust him anot, it didn't really matter, if the labour comes, i save that bit. if it doesn't, i jus got to spend more. all i can say is, we can gather forces, find one lawyer n sue him to get back our money.

have been listening to the radio.. always came across this song by beatles, 'Let it be'... didn't really enjoy this song like now. didn't really understand the song until one late night resting in the car, thinking about my reno.... as the problems has really been up to my neck..me n hubby really SOOOOOOOOOOOO tired...... that u just want to 'LET IT BE'... n go find money, solve it, move on, move on.... i guess ah sooners who have reached my stage will know the feeling of 'LET IT BE'... Feelings-- my mum seeing me in despair, agony, frustrations for the past 6 mths, said this to me: 钱能解决的问题，不是问题。 钱不能解决的问题，才是问题。 那，什么才是文题？ 没了健康，钱都买不回来的健康。。。 it somehow strucK me... my mum is full of illness.. diabetes, hbp, stroke, amputated legs, eyes almost half blind... her life is not easy everyday have to inject 3 times of insulin....to her, if money can solve the problem, it isn't really a problem. just go find money to do it. but if one losses it's health that money can't even buy back .. is it worth it..? during one of the quarrels with ah soon, i feel so dizzy and almost fainted... at that point, i am so scared that i will just faint away... first time in my life, i feel lost of control... it makes me realize, life, we are in control in most of the things, except health... it can struck us anytime...but at least, i still can say, i am in control of things now... yes i am angry, i am so angry with ah soon for causing me so much miseries...i hate him so much that the money that he caused me to lose, i could buy alot of medications for my mum... !! but i also know he isn't any better than anyone one of us, chasing, cursing, scolding him everyday... he used to be loved by houseowners n now seeing him is like seeing ghost... am i softhearted to feel this way? i always think that no matter how bad a person is, one would still have feelings... i hope my reno will end real soon and move on with my life, there's still many things awaiting to greet us ahead of our lives... good or bad... ( i hope all good lah)... if u ask me what i wanna do now, i really REALLY REALLY want to finish my reno, take a small break and enjoy my house... (Then chase back my money!!)

this is where my yorky sleeps and stay in for the past 6 months, a 2ft (60cm) dog cage. No choice really no place for a bigger cage for her. she is badly groomed and very restless everyday. i got no time to walk her.. she is so used to be in the cage that when i release her out of the cage, she is scared to walk on the floor!... she keep using her sad sad eyes to look at me that makes me feel so bad i guess only dog lovers will understand what i m saying..

i never ask but he said before working for ah tan, he was working for the sub cons in IR marina.. but wasn't paid for 4mths and the company closed down... i guess if he wasn't skilled enuff, he can't be working in IR right... do correct me if i m wrong...
