Went to choose my marble flooring today... Decided to pick the Volakas Marble. That was the only one that matched my overall theme, but will need to top-up cos the $psf was higher than what was quoted by my ID.

An update on my recess area... Must purchase and god noes hw long the whole procedure will take... My reno is scheduled to start on the 18th, I hope HDB will not take too long...

I seriously do not understand what is wrong wif the ppl at HDB. I'm also trying to get my recess area but it is taking a loooong time... while everybody is playing 'ping-pong'... It's nt as if it's FOC, I think HDB shld really start doing something about their slow services...

I'm doing ceiling fans all over the place, the only solution that looks okie seems to be L-box wif downlights. That's what I'll be doing.

Just came back from HAFARY... omg, they really have a lot of tiles... Now, I'm left with the marble flooring as HAFARY's way too exp to get any nice and reasonably priced marble...

An update about my plans for the void... NEGATIVE... HDB has replied that it will not be possible as that will increase the gross area of the unit so it's back to the drawing board for my ID... haha Good news, I pay less...

Hi all, Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm also waiting for approval for the void. Apparently, I'm not the 1st to propose and get that extension approved. So hopefully, the officer reviewing will be in a good mood Will update once I hear anything. Anyway, whatever alterations done will be accompanied by approval letters otherwise I won't do them. If need be, will amend the designs proposed. Cheers~
