hi angteko, chance upon ur t-blog while surfing in the forum for inspiration on tv console..i like the way ur id did ur tv console area for u..instead of having a featured wall, he replaced it with wall paper to'highlight' the area...n i seriously love ur wall paper!!!! would you b able to let me know where u get the wallpaper from? do u tink ur id will be interested to do minor reo? juz got my keys recently n have been searching for contactors to do some minor work to the the toilets... some came to my place to c c look look last weekend, but till now, nobody give me their quote yet...;( oh oh...before i forgot, congrats on moving into ur house...its really very nicely done up...

ermmm....was looking at this thread to see if there's any recomendation for contractors... but seems like a wrong thread..;p i'm still a bit confuse when u guys mentioned getting ID/contractors to do reno. I'm concentrating more on getting contractors cos my reno will be very basic. i got a 5rm resale flat, which is in quite a relatively good condition..so probably i will juz change the toilet bowls, put up vanity tops, if budget/HDB (i think i need to get hdb approval to knock down wall rite?) permits, maybe knock down one of the wall between dining area n kitchen to have a bar counter instead.. since its so basic, i think no ID will be interested rite.. cant earn much from me...;p read quite a few threads on reno ideas and some of you guys t-blog..but tt's few months ago...i have forgotten which contractor is good except for henry, the popular contractor in renotalk forum now.. but given his popularity now, i think it will be quite difficult for me to get him to do my reno..so other than henry, any other recommendation? oh, do you guys think its possible for me to change the color of my current kitchen cabinets without redoing the entire kitchen cabinets?

My apologies lilithfiend for tapping on your t-blog... I will be starting on my reno soon, but it will juz be a minor reno on the 2 toilets, touching up on the kitchen n if budget permits, maybe hack down a wall between my dining room n kitchen to create a bar counter top.. sorry to appear as a loafer, would like to get the contacts of some of the contractors that you guys have been talking about in this thread and others. Like Henry, Compact Builders, Mr Yeak, and any others that you guys can recommend... thanks all in advance!

Hi Smurfy, U juz bought a sofa from species? they have a package with includes doubling up as ID to go to ur hse to do some color matching of the furniture n wall painting. after seeing all the comments here, i'm a bit worried..not too sure to take up their package anot. realised not many ppl took up their this package too... by the way,we also like one of the sofa there...

hi, i'm currently looking out for a flat and happen to chance upon a unit at 17 Jln Tenteram. quite like the design of the place. However, my hubby n myself r not familar with the area, when we visited the unit, the place seems quite ulu to me, there isnt any eateries around n supermarket. seems like will definitely have to drive to get those eateries n supermarket. is it true? or we juz happen to miss it on our way there? n is it convenient to get to town? there's no mrt there as well... wat abt school?? sorry for the many ques, as we r seriously considering the unit but the above ques r holding us back..n notice that you also juz bought a unit there, so tot u might b a good source of info for me... thanks thanks!!
