Exactly my sentiment. That's why in kitchen, I ban all warm white bulb I even returned IKEA lights when I realized it's using halogen which produces warm white (and all halogen can only produce warm white light).

There is a quote for 17 ft Solid Surface of $1190 which is around $70/pfr. Which means, this is a normal/standard solid surface. If I were you, I would upgrade the Solid Surface to LG one. The shine is different

Erm ... I don't know where you're heading :P Anyway, the pic on the right side is my pantry cabinet. The place for all the food stockpile. Currently my oven is sitting on top of a tile which sit on top of a domino pizza corrugated board. Have yet to put some padding on the tile so I don't need the corrugated board. Anyone know whether I can polish the sharp edges of tile myself?

Contractor is good. Her response and follow up are excellent. We have moved in already. Yesterday, she came to do some touch up on the place and also for the final payment. Now also waiting for the electrician for touch up and fix my mistake

Warm white will give you a cozy feel but warm white is actually a bit yellowish. So when you cook, you can not see the food color correctly because of this yellow light. That's why in kitchen, we don't have any warm white lighting. Even the ceiling light is cool daylight.

What we gog to do: 1. Ask carpenter to mount the lights (we don't have the drill to do that) 2. Connect the cable to the socket 3. Ask electrician to put casing in it

Yesterday nite was quite busy. My contractor came for the final payment and some touch up. I would take photos of my kitchen cabinet tonight. From chanhuat, there are 2 types of T5 light, the one with switch and without. The T5 light comes in several lengths, the one i remember is 502mm and 902mm (which I bought). Interestingly, they both have the same price. The T5 light is covered with some acrylic and very slim. Initially the bulb is a warm-white but I request to change to cool white. It would be more suitable for kitchen.

The cost should be less than $50. But after opening up the wall, the painter (which would be me ) would have to do some painting and touch up. I subscribe to Singtel BB because it supposed to be better than starhub cable. But this would be the last time I use singtel services !!! Unless, all the other telco closed down in 2 years time.

If your 1st appointment is June, why is the rush to settle the ID by end of may? Your reno would start in August also. You can confirm your ID by July, that would be a good timing.
