ya lor.. think they jz want me to pay more also.. ya i signed with inovar during their anniversary sale recently. $3.00psf includes gst, delivery, installation and skirting. told them i dun wan the additional underlay and did not indicate anything abt it, so if the difference in floor level too obvious, told the guy i will jump at him.. as to why choose inovar.. mainly cos it was cheaper.. also cos of its claims below.. yup.. like danny mentioned.. the additional rubber underlay is supposed to give a more firm feel when u step on it.. also something about noise reduction..

the laminates shud come with the usual foam thingy underneath ya.. so the rubber underlay is optional. he gvg it to me for 80cents psf but i dun really think we need it....?

laminate guy gv me wrong measurements to gv my ID.. :angry2: he tot i wanted rubber underlay which costs extra.. never told him i wanted it.. even as an option.. duh.. so question is.. do u guys think that abt 3mm difference from my bedroom laminate floor to my living room tiles would be noticeable? it will be joined by those T-joints thingy.. :huh:

r u doing DIY for ur reno? there's this guy in another forum, he does his own reno, hires own sub-cons for diff stuff, very interesting.. maybe can go there and ask for his contacts..? i can pm u the link if u wan.. cos dun think able to post the link here..

i saw the hood n hob in summer trading actually, and in heritage and somewhere else.. parisilk nvr display the fujioh hood n hob i think.. i jz ask them abt the price..

ya that's true.. cos the FX900 sucks up nearly 83% (according to them.. ) i think for me that is quite sufficient. so if induction doesnt make much fumes maybe can go for that model.. goh ah bee quoted me $350 for the hood. parisilk gv me a bundle price so not sure abt the individual pricing..

me planning to get appliances from parisilk leh.. they can match prices of other stores too actually.. forgot to ask abt delivery charges though.. but Id gv me contact for parisilk cos she used to deal with them.. thats where i got my hob n hood for $700..

our kitchen n toilet fixtures arrived.. (helmet not included...) also went to choose laminates and paint colors for the walls.. see til eyes blur... :wacko: kitchen cabinets getting glossy white.. cud not decide on WIW color.. wanted glossy white too but think might settle on glossy porcelain color.. then after ID's place went to poliform and saw this texture for the wardrobe. nice... wonder if they hv this kinda laminates? have to call ID tmr again.. got this for tv console on white wall.. walls will be painted mainly white cos hubby likes it that way.. exception the wall where bed headboard is.. ID suggested to use pentalite cos says easier to repaint next time if want to, is that true? wouldnt dulux all be quite good too?

we are goin for ard the same color scheme.. white everywhere.. but will throw in splashes of color by using diff color cushions, plates, cups and other decorative stuff... thats the plan lah.. think this month's square room mag features a home like that.. very nice..
