thanks SGK... ours nearer to West Plaza. saw a unit similar layout in Tampines with windows at the area between the 2 bedrooms but didnt really like the area the flat was in... luckily we got our place when prices were low n nobody asking for COV, we actually bought it under value also..

thanks Moku mama.. ya a lot of hacking plus other things involved so costs quite a bit.. also flat is in kinda bad condition n whole house walls have those uneven surface which was popular in the 80s (or was it 90s...), so need to plaster whole house.. but we met with a few IDs mentioned in RT but they gave us quotes which were higher than Intra (surprisingly..).. currently everything coming up to about $45k inclusive of electrical.. but costs still adding cos we adding a bit here n there..

thanks Mickey.. actually have been lurking in RT for awhile and when saw ur plan for ur new home, was really impressed and like the rest, can't wait to see the end result. and ur 'starry' lights are very nice.. hubby and i actually went to artemide to chk out their lights, loved every single one of them but every single one costs way more than what i am willing to pay.. although hubby wud prob have bought one or two if left to his own devices..

hi hi.. tot i'd start my own t-blog now since have more photo to show.. (thanks to feimei for letting me ride on her t-blog before this..) got our keys on 5th nov n hacking started on 12th nov.. estimated HO date is 20th dec. hopefully ID is able to keep to the schedule so that we can have Christmas in our new home.. this is our flat layout : the storeroom is part of the current mbr (hacked by previous owner) we will breaking sealing up doorway in bedroom 2, hack entryway between mbr n bedroom 2... after that the current mbr will be our WIW cum study and bedroom 2 will become our mbr. will also chg the entrance to mbr toilet and building a storeroom in the kitchen.. hubby insists on a storeroom..

very nice 3Ds.. especially like the study room with the corner for the plant..

huh? cheap ah? i still think it cud be cheaper leh... aiya.. but ur stuff which u bought from ms kee is cheaper than mine mah.. win some lose some lor... but chimney hood n hob looks good leh.. but i wanna have more cabinet space so choose slim hood.

heh... i wanna use fujioh hood leh cos its supposed to have better suction among others, even my ID said so, cos my kitchen no door, so need good suction so fumes wont go into the living room.. so since using fujioh hood might as well use the hob also lor.. but was jz deciding between glass n s/steel and whether really need safety valve but the design wif safety valve seems more practical and hubby likes it so... getting tt.. cheapest quote now from parisilk is $700 for hood n 3 burner glass.. planning to call goh ah bee after i get bk to sin.. the grease supposed to collect on some tray in the hood which u can take out n wash rite..

yup bought but at heritage in geylang.. ID brought us.. think a little more ex than ms kee but amk was a bit too far for us to go over again.. but thanks again for ur contact.. question: is there a need to use a gas hob that has safety valves?

heh.. dun tink will be starting anytime soon.. i still hvnt taken any pics of the place in reno phase.. think they shud be tiling this week.. no time to drop by the place to chk out.. only went to see the place at 3am a few days bk cos fren drove us.. but ID keeps us updated so trusting her.. quite a lot actually... now going ard to chk out furniture.. think buying mostly from OM cos the guy there gv us pretty good discounts.. also cos most furniture shop i bring hubby to, he dun like..
