  3. Hi, I was thinking of buying some articfiicial brick tiles or slates for a 10' by 10' wall. I was told I can buy directly somewhere in Sungei Kadut but not sure where. Is this a difficult task to DIY since it requires some cutting tools and some chemical glue for the tiles. Tks for all advices in advance /Djv

Thanks but do u have their contact to share? Cheers !
  7. About $45 psf for normal glass with base (aluminium) colour and $55 psf if you want it in tinted glass and powder coated. Pretty expensive I must say unless u have a million dollar view from yr window. In singapore, BestView is the only one doing this, so there is no competition at all and now u know why its so pricy.

Hi, Anyone has a recommendation for a good plaster board ceiling contractor? The last one I engaged made no prior survey on my interior and when the workers came, start firing thousands of nails into the ceiling resulting in concealed electrical wiring shorted. Have to spend another 1.5k for electrician to troubleshoot and by-pass the short circult point(s). Took 2 days to restore electricity. Big headache. So make sure u guys take note if you have conceal wiring. Do let me know if you have a one to recommend. Thanks ya...
  10. Yes, I have similar experience with the company called "Pan Jia" or move house (translate from mandrain) and I feel I have the responsibility to forewarn ppl. These mover literal open up our cupboards and drawer to check for things and they keep hussling if we dont want this or that so they could take them. They would take their own sweet time smoking, joking and laughing while moving the items. We have also losted a few items in the process. Worst is that at the end of the move, there were so many dents on our furniture and fridge and they even demaded tips. It was really a nightmare dealing with these hooligans and we are completely at their mercy. Pls beware.
  11. Hi. Can anyone share with me if there are contractor who does heat proofing for internal ceiling, ie. using abestos (or sorts) for heat absorption before mounting the false ceiling? Any kind advice or recommendation is appreciated.
  12. Pretty expensive. About $50-$55 psf depending on the type of material chosen. Sale personnel by the name H***N kind of arrogant but what to do? In Singapore they are the only supplier... so that it or leave it lor. They are not hungry.
  13. Hi, I am planning to install a dual purpose window for my apartment. Understood that "BestView" is currently the most advertised vendor in Sg, I wonder if there is any cheaper alternative in Singapore? I was told there is one somewhere in Sembawang but know not its address. WOuld be very grateful for any kind advices on this. /Djv
