Welcome I think the kitchen is also a bit ex, why not try independent kitchen contractor and see what kind of package they can give you. I think for the same price you can get way better quality. The tiles at $2.80 i think is reasonable cause many will state $2.50 but there isn't many tiles that look nice at that kind of price.

Count down to moving in! 4 more days! Kitchen almost done, solid surface up yesterday, all work on kitchen to be completed by today. Other major is store room display door, balcony wood decking, that should be done by tomorrow. PLUS all the touch up works and installation of bathroom fittings.

This is how the dinning room will looks like. Huge sign of relief that the red book shelves turns out ok. Notice the 4 chairs at the side? That's all the chairs that we got when we bought the dinning table. So we order a wooden bench to compliment it. You can also see the table sans legs behind it.

This Friday and i just gave my ID 1 whole page of stuffs to rectify

Carpentry are being installed. So far, we have had 2 setttes, MBR wardrobe, and study table installed. Kitchen cabinet is pending solid top next Monday. Tomorrow, we will have another carpenter coming in to install our full-height bookshelf, decorative storeroom door, and timber flooring for the balcony. If you are going to sandwich steel wires between 2 pieces of metal i would think you cut a channel in the metal pieces so that the both the metal pieces can close together with no gaps. Hiaz....

Hi Ninja, i am only changing the face plates for the switches. The power points i am leaving them alone. I think it's better for you to call your ID and tell him you will supply the switches face plates and ask him to give you the qty to buy. To me every time you want to change anything they will just give you a $200 or $300 which i find fishy. So in case being chop carrot spend a bit more time and effort is worth it. Cheers
