chipee - u noe ar, just as i was tiking abt the aircon installation, received a call from the company today to say tat they r giving us an upgraded version of the aircon unit (only for the system 3) with BTU of 12000 each....at no further costs...i was like then i asked him so wat time would ur guys be down tml? he said...oh my office gal will call u tml....i was like TML??? but u guys going to install it tml then u only call me tml?? later he apologised to say, too many customers liao....he say wrong thing....i'm like huh?? geez, i tik i'm getting the jitters for the reno man....sounds so much like wedding jitters man....worry tis not done....worry tat not done....worry some prob cropping up....faintz

joseeng - to be honest, he din say cos maybe we din ask...we only told him tat we need to move in by early may then he said....by 8 - 10 may, u can arrange for ur fridge n stuff to come in liao....i figured tat's the indication of his handover date to us....after tat, i din ask abt it....then ask him again when we can get the unit, he said have to wait for the carpentry to more or less complete or rather, he needs a confirmation from the carpentry side before he can commit to a date for us.... chipee - yeah, a/c installation is up tml....hahahaha....definitely will test for coolness....it's v v impt to us

haiz....since 10th we chose our laminates n colours, no sight or news of the carpentry yet...wondering y it's taking so long...or m i just pure impatient? asked Edmund a few times...he said waiting for cabinets to be in....till nw, still no news

erm, have to rent a car if u do not have one....doubt taxi-ers will entertain u....better to get a cheap car rental then bring all back in.... we just did tat for our new house last wkend....bought so much stuff till the car boot was full to the brim n the back seat too.... we got our toilet accessories, lights, misc etc....we didn't bring in the sink n tap tis time round cos we wanted a diff size sink which they didn't have so didn't get it back then....

KSJL - wah seh....if u get rug, u will vacuum it daily?? eh tot u work? u not housewife rite? btw if u have sensitive nose, seriously a rug or even curtain isn't recommendable...unless ur nose is not ultra sensitive i guess....cos i also have very sensitive nose and face, henceforth no curtains or rugs whatsoever....

Hahaha tat's gd news anyway so u both can move over to p&d n begin new life there Yeah...my trunking had to wait 3 wks!!! Nw installation told me abt mid may till i press them further...abit ****ty leh...pray tat next thur's installation will go thru smoothly as for workmanship, all i can say is yrs n yrs of experience definitely go a long way for such technical stuff...for mine, the 2 guys who came look much younger than me for sure...anyhow could b superficial on my part we shall see if they will b up to their words

Just when i was ending off my posts, stove n hood just gt delivered.... Today so far so gd other than mbr fan remote control nt working...it'll b changed tis wkend so small case n no sweat abt it.... Tis wkend is for delivering lights for house n remainder of toilet accessories... Next wk will b installation of aircons!!! Can't wait for those...painful process to get thru best tech n call n get them to do trunking n nw installing...almost had to wait till mid may for those...absolutely ridiculous!! agree wif Edmund...next time if move hm get aircon dun get gaincity or best tech cos their schedules forever packed...get those aircon vendors instead

After chatting wif Edmund earlier, found out tat currently carpentry works progressing well...once kitchen cabinets start to come in, we'll have indicative dates as to when we can move in...exciting...he'll let us noe the schedule asap...can't wait till then n further updates/pics, c u guys!!!!

Noticed tat several things done up too... house looks pristine wif its new coats of paint...swee!! the 15amp powerpoint for oven as promised, Edmund called powergas n set up all the gas pipes n all...looks fine to me

Nw for mbr fan!!! pic turn out strange...fan on full speed but when pic taken the blades look mystically weird looks pretty bright nevertheless...

joseeng - haha yeah....scarli wait for courts till i grow algae KSJL - i tik change of toilet mixers nt just cos of the vanity cabinet though i'm nt getting Edmund to do them for us...worry next time toilet sink kena clogged or choked then confirm the cabinet will b **** kns...it's sth we experienced before so we nt going to take risk for tat....anyhow we want to b able to use rubber hose in toilets to wash toilets n all so much easier to change toilet mixer... Nope...nt getting shower screen either...b it half length or shower screen n door like many of our peers....nt practical for us to use so nt getting
