thanks all for the feedback and comments. decided to stick to original plan. have another matter which I need some comments on. it's regarding the store room door and mbr door. contractor is still finding way to change the store room door facing. but i am still undecided on which direction the door should open to. here are my 2 options (storeroom on the left, mbr on the right) Option 1 - store room door open towards living room. Pro - storeroom and mbr door knob on the same side, looks nicer. Con - moving big items in and out of storeroom will be troublesome as the storeroom door will block the passageway entrance Option 2 - store room door open away from living room Pro - Easy to move items in and out. Con - Door knob will be on opposite side of mbr room door. Might look weird. Hope you all get what i mean. Any comments? Thanks.

lights are up, electrical works 80% done, window grilles are up, all the doors are up, new gate is up, carpentry completed awaiting granite top. next week will be laminate flooring and wardrobe from closet design. altar and shoe cabinet kitchen cabinet some defects with the carpentry, will let me contractor know. but overall quite pleased with the workmanship. realised I forgot to tell my contractor 1 thing, which is the store room door. all along wanted to open outwards but forgot to tell him and make sure. now the door is opening inwards. hopefully still can do something about it. going to affect partition, floor tiles and hopefully don't damage the new door frame. another problem, my kitchen sink tap cannot be fixed in the middle (no more space) have to fix on either side. i feel still usable but not as ideal as in the centre. any comments?

hi ossify, your 707 compact water inlet, are you running your stainless steel pipe to it or water hose? cos i was told the water inlet is in the casing, if need to change, have to open the casing.

there's surge protector with coaxial and rj11(phone line) input but mine is normal with the power points. surge protector is only an extension, you'll still need the scv point. you can try looking at gawa, yee sin, sim win liang or thian lee hardware. all these i got from renotalk.

got pros and cons lor.. it's all up to personal preference. i am going to have only 2 and use belkin surge protector to extend more points.

wha.. u put so many points ar? Not sure about the booster thing but if you only hook on 1 TV from that point, I dun think will matter. you never wrap up your air con? to prevent dust from going in.

not a must. the termination point is like the scv/telephone point. you can decide to place it elsewhere. just that your router/pc will be hooked on to the termination point in the future.

if during the installation of the water pipes and accessories there's some minor cracks in the tile, do you normally ask them to replace the tile and mount again or close one eye?
