  1. Both my kids (a boy & a girl) is sharing one room. In order to maximise space so I've bought them a bunk bed. May I know how to decorate the room as my girl likes Disney Princess and my son likes Ben 10 alien force. What colour for their room? I was thinking of buying decals or wall stickers in order to make them have a sense of belonging so may I know which decals or wall stickers would you recommend? Thanks in advance for your help
  2. I would like to thank both of your comments. What mashmallow said has a point, although I will get the keys on 07 Feb but the contractors/workers will not start on the next day due to CNY. I'll have to priortise things like doing a built in wardrobe, hacking and installing a kitchen cabinet and painting of the whole house before I move in whereas the rest have to wait. I can't afford to be too ambitious due to time constrain. At the same time, I would like to ask another question which is I've bought a bedroom set (however not delivered yet) out of impulse then realised that it is better to do a built in wardrobe so any advice? Thanks in advance
  3. Dear all, I've just bought a house that is well maintained but requires minor renovations as the last time that they renovate is 10 over years. Now the tricky part is time constrain, I'll be getting my house keys on 7 Feb 2011 and is currently renting a flat which I'll handover to my landlord on 25 Feb 2011. I was thinking of doing minor renovations like hacking the kitchen cabinet, installing a frosted glass door between the kitchen and the living room. Can anyone please advise on what is the duration?
  4. Stange initially wanted to add in my few cents worth of idea to what "west" has said but don't know why my comment is not reflected. Perhaps I'm new to the forum so got to learn from others. I agree with "west" that the bathroom is too small to design whichever style you want. I'm going to renovate my bathroom as well and I did my homework by browsing the magazine and surfing the net in order to get ideas on how I want to renovate my toilet. However to my dismay, the concept I have is good to look at but is not practical. I was thinking of installing a vanity set with a frosted glass storage compartment below the sink initially but was having second thoughts because my shower is directly opposite the sink so with the water splashing the storage area, it will decomposed faster. Any advise is appreciated and thanks in advance.
