  1. I have the following Cellini Oak TV console, to let go @$290, interested please contact porcupine12trade@yahoo.com.sg Hi
  2. hi ymjp, Its been months since you got the artificial turf. I am very tempted to get it done for my balcony, can you share pros/cons after having it for mths? Esp the cleaning part. thank you!
  3. BEWARE of Xclusive (opp IMM). I'm having headache with them, very stressful. Lies after lies. I'll update when I get solution from them. My advice is don't buy from them.
  4. Hi, Honeywell and BlueAir are air purifier (and they dont look pretty). If i m not wrong these 2 brands are used in hospital but of coz the premium grade which cost $1000s. Personally i have a blueair, but used it for only couple of mths. My kids' PD does not think they are very helpful for sinus, asthma etc as it only help relief/improve slightly (eg, with med can relief till 90%, with purifier add'l 5-10% ) of health problems. We spent months looking for such machine and found out Negative Ion is Not suitable for asthmatic people (not sure abt sinus), and too much of it is actually not good even for people with no "breathing" problem. That was the reason why we got just a air purifier. Dont take my word wholesale, research more. My sil kids have sensitive air way too and she likes the blueair she has.
  5. Forget to add. It's like light reflected using ceiling and not the bright kind shining down. I find ok but different people have diff perception of brightness. I'm g cove light using full ht cabinet in my mbr on the longer side of the room, but I'm adding led track lights on opp side.
  6. Terrygerrad Thanks for your inputs, feel better after reading Swiper My Sis bedroom has a cove light on 1 side of room (longer side) abt 4M, I find the lighting good. Not the v bright kind u get from hamburger light, but nice and enough (for us) for general lighting.
  7. anyone use their bomb shleter boltless shelving? May I have some feedback, thanks!
  8. hi terrygerrad thank you for ur inputs, the "2in1 v stand alone" has been haunting me for weeks b4 i made the choice, it did not help when all my hb said was "y need to think so long, anything la"... i made my choice by comparing the costs, its $39 (2 in 1) v $60 (stand alone), so i took the 2 in 1 purely coz they r cheaper lol. tell myself dont look back, otherwise its pointless torture. Thanks again for all the info you have given me ...n ooh yes, we'll surely get lamps for the kids, dont want them end up with thick glasses heh
  9. swiper, yes good to look around more and consider other brands. We are simply too sian of walking around, looking at things that seem sooooo greek to us, best of all, my hb has NO opinion :s.....everything "up to u (me, wife) lo", moreover we have 3 young schooling kids, not easy to walk round the island with them. My friend just did his reno and has installed LED recess lighting thru'out his home, his LEDs are from AI LED (local company, LEDs assembled in sin, but originate dont know where ). We went for philips simply because LEDworks is a 1 stop shop for all...everything set up swee swee, just pt "i wan tis set-up, that set-up"... consolation is we only got 3x3m tracks, 10 LED GU10+holders, if not suitable, still not tt bad. Like i mentioned earlier, bathrooms/passage way/kitchen = existing false ceiling+PLC and balconies = existing hamburger ceiling lights, hence we are not going to change them.... we just want to take care of the "not there stuff" LOL. Actually tis is our 3rd reno liao... but we still as "inexperience" as before LOL, terrible....ooh or rather coz the family setup is getting more complicated, hence the reno too...only 1 word to describe ---> SIAN
  10. How abt the Philips GU10 7w? I have gotten 40D beam angle, ok or not? we chose the GU10 coz no need external transformer, dont know its the correct thinking or not, its kind of too late to back out coz we hv gotten holders compatible with the GU10, though too late to do anything but still good to know what i am getting into. I am wondering if Track lighting (how many bulbs needed?) is able to light up rooms of 3.5x2.7m and 3x2.5m? this is driving me nuts, as these 2 rooms are kids room, cannot be too dim, so its either LED track lighting or L Box recess lighting LED is still v new, think we just took the plunge and be using it (track lighting), but to play safe, we including cove lighting too. leep my fingers crossed
