Where To Buy Custom-Cut Tempered Glass And Fountain Pumps?
porcupine12trade replied to paladin's topic in DIY Corner
Hi marshmallow May I know the measurement of your glass and price? Also are they able to cut a hole (for the wire to go thru) on the glass? I was quoted $500+ for tempered glass top for study table of 9ft long (50cm depth) , almost fainted (or is it the normal price?)..also the wall backing between the study table and top hung cabinet same 9ft..another $500+..meaning i have to spend $1k+ just for the glass. Thanks! -

FaithfulP thanks for ur advice, we were indeed going for microfiber, but aware maintenance may be a nightmare. Is it that dust trapped easily? The sales pp always tell us its "easy" to maintain :s, which we were in doubt. PU definitely easier to maintain, but a sales lady (FC homes) told us PU will peel in 2-3 yrs...gosh, dont know what material to choose! Any advice? thanks! -

Hi I went to courts too and tot the bedframes are expensive on its own, coz I already got a mattress. Sigh, i saw all the recos n reply here only after i bot the bedframe from Xculsive. I checked tis page and no one replied me yet, at the same time we were "sick" of walking around. We went to Sungei Kadut but din have the patience to comb all shops...rather my hb no patience. $700 is so cheap?!!!! I paid $1070 for one at xclusive, fabric but have not decided on the headboard design yet...heart pain -

Hi Valerie, I went to Avanni to look at the bed that you bot. They quoted me $1099, its a big diff of almost $300 from what you managed to get! May I know how you bargained for such good price? Thank you.
-
Hi valerie, silly me, you already listed the place and even price, thanks! Is the material PU? Thanks!
-
Hi Valerie May I know where you got this storage divan? Its nice . Your blog is very informative . I am also preparing for renovation of my new place. 3 bedroom unit, and i have 3 kids. Decided to build a study in the living room, challenging task, but no choice. I always believe in proper study area however my kids' rooms cannot cater big enough space for their study area because I want all the beds to be "on the flr"...no bunk beds, n pull out beds. This is my 3rd time renovating, but still feeling kind of lost......

assirac, saw that you are using wallpaper for your new home. Have you decided where to get the wallpaper?

Hi Thang, If we join Jaz, we'v got 6 . I have emailed her mins ago, waiting for her reply. I also seperately emailed the rest of the participants, hope everyone still keen and we can get our Grp buy
-
hi jazzy jaz, we're also keen on getting a serta mattress. can we start a new list for group purchase? 1. silverspire 2. peekaboo1681 3. sjsbarry 4. porcupine12trade 5. 6. once there are 6 persons, we can organize a meetup at a serta store (we're looking to purchase from IMM branch as the salesman there is really good, not pushy).
-
Hi I am keen too. Still on? Queen sophistication, thanks!

many people will choose to camo the door. but i see the door not ugly leh (but u are right, KPO pp will open it hahaha). for me, if i wan save cost, i will not do anything to it, coz its not ugly like bomb shelter door

ya i can imagine the amount of storage u'll get from that whole stretch of cabinets!!! SHIOK. ay but i read alot of mags, alot of IDs put plenty of cabinets along the wall, doesnt look tt bad and they mentioned it will make the hse look clutter free, hence "bigger"..how about make a 1 ft deep one rather then the 2ft one?
-
ya dont need ID but if he/she a friend n dont charge u for the ID svc then no harm mah, can use the ID brains heh. As for feature walls, if u hv in mind what you want, otherwise an ID can give you some nice ideas. For myself, i'll make cabinets/wall paper as feature wall. my objective is functional over beauty (but cant be too orbit la)

correct me if i m wrong, its the little cover to cover the top of the curtain n the tracks, right? (wah talk so much already n still not very sure what is it haaa)
-
me too... my hb is leaving the thinking to me. I dont intend to get an ID, just a reliable carpenter coz most of the works will be carpentry. Mayb after all, I have to start a T blog to post my flr plan to get expert advices. "lazy" to start
-
Hi ossify are you in reno trade? I love to hv long cabinets too n have the same worry it will clutter the place, basically i need alot of storage (fam of 5) and clutter free space. What do you mean by almost full height? meaning suspended or leaving gap btw the ceiling n the top of cabinet? thanks
-
would like to experts ideas too, but i m not a "blogger" (prefer to read) so dont wan to start my own T blog..it'll probably be inactive after a while .
