how are you going to clear them? hahaha -
oh ya forgot to reply you when i saw your question in another thread... in my parents' home, toilet door is wooden one. They still wet/spray the floor when washing, but of course they dun anyhow spray until the water splash to the door la... the door has been there for 20++ years, some small parts at the bottom of the door pop up, but it's not serious at all... hey the door has been used for so many years leh~ i think this is good enough from their experience, i guess you can do "controlled" spraying to the toilet floor consciously avoid spraying on the wooden door... and oh yah my parents will put a standing fan to dry the toilet immediately after wash - so the toilet won't be wet for long hope this helps~

yup i have black granite too... photos in my t-blog haha oh i never asked for the cut-out cos i thought they normally dun give you back anyway, just the sink area only la... so only a small piece yea can see the seal one... but for black granite of course they use black colour seal la not so obvious~
-
wah your husband always give you surprises... so nice of him so which colour you choose for the granite? black? haha my sister is those lazy type... if you ask her about sealing, sure she will go "huh?" i think the workmanship was good to start with, so the granite can tahan so long basically it's maintenance free for her~ my parents home is using marble top... my father said, only need to seal as and when he feels necessary... like if the sealing drops off a bit and he doesn't feel "shuang" seeing it, then just add some new sealing... haha he re-seal around once every 2 years.

bro, sorry to hear about your SS top... i really can't think of how they can get it wrong with the hole already drilled there! btw, for the retractable clothes hanger, photo is here : http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?sh...st&p=581367 btw, he got a few group of tilers, xiaohei is just one of them. according to other t-blogs, many of Henry's customers got other tilers... and, i think i've asked you a few times who is your site supervisor... cos from what i know, Henry has 4 supervisors, and each reno job is assigned to one of them. Henry oversees the 4 of them, but the actual work and coordination is done by the supervisor - at least this was my case. -
aiyah... i couldn't find suction kitchen bar with hooks... zzz. end up buying a pack of small suction hooks... LOL and, must say that you're very brave to have that glass kitchen - i sort of dreamed of it but the bubbles burst once i thought of the cleaning part.... haha

this is the service area behind the L-shape kitchen.... with my Brandt washer still thinking of a good way to put my mops orderly.... laundry basket from Ikea. Actually we used to have a lime green one (also from Ikea) that marches the whole kitchen theme just right! but too bad it was damaged by the mover when we shifted house... sobz tried to get back from Ikea but realised they only have black and white now... SOBZ

hey froggy, on the washer, my take is... using Flash 40 on full load wouldn't physically strain the washer, becos the washer is designed to perform all these washing actions on full load anyway (rinsing, soaking, spinning...) but like what you mentioned, Flash 40 has shorter or less rounds of wash, washing effectiveness may reduce for a full load. hence in the manual, they still recommend to use half load for Flash 40... (in case pple complain clothes not clean ) if cleanliness is not an issue (e.g. clothes not so dirty to start with), Flash 40 should be ok for full load. for myself, so far have always been using Flash 40 for full load. so far the clothes still feel clean and fresh... haha my $0.02

and finally... my starhub kitchen - the finished product sorry it's a bit messy cos i already started using the kitchen... hahaha... must show this photo to prove to Henry that i cook okie!!! he always says he doesn't believe i can cook... Took a long, long time to decide on the kitchen top. At first, wanted to have a light-colour top cos we thought light colour goes better with the kitchen theme. At the same time, I really wanted granite becos of its ease of maintenance and durability, but most of the granite colours/pattern doesn't match the kitchen theme.... after discussing and thinking for a loooonnngggg time, decided to go for granite - when i recalled how many times i put hot wok/pans on kitchen top during cooking then, black granite seems to be the only one that can match my kitchen colour.... when the granite top was finally up, i was surprised by end result - not only that it doesn't look odd, the black granite actually added a touch of class to the whole kitchen~ really glad that i made the right choice~!

so you'll have a green house.......... -
The Kitchen Story - continued to continue I think very hard how the cabinet could go wrong... then i realised that there must be a lapse in communication when we discussed about the cabinet. my idea: Henry's proposed idea and our discussion: So, seems like... I simply assume that when he took out dish drainer, he will take out the extra panel of cabinet as well.Henry thought that I just didn't want the dish drainer, but still keeping his configuration of cabinets, since i didn't say explicitly about taking out the panel of cabinet. You can say it's my fault to assume... haha but Henry was kind enough to help me change the cabinets FOC. Few days later... the carpenters came again and the position of cabinets are all corrected now! yay! Noob Lesson 3: Don't assume - you think, i thought, who confirm?

haha i see i see. my flat layout same as my sister's, but i somehow got extra windows in the kitchen and toilet, and one bedroom got an extra panel of casement window. Windows also slightly taller i think... wah cheaper than his? then quite good price wor~ what colour are your windows? -
The Kitchen Story - continued and.... carpentry's arrived... and installed~! erm, but wait. the day when the carpentry came was an action-packed day - doors installation, electrical points installation, ceiling fan installation........ and i had to go for lesson. i left home when the carpenters were about to start work, my hubby was the only one jaga-ing everything. when i came back home, yes carpentry was up, but something wasn't right....... i was thinking: how come the "hole" for the hood is so far away from the sink? then i realised that... there should be 2 cabinet doors on the each side of the hood, now, it's 3 on the right and only 1 on the left *faint* like that, i m left with a pathetic small space for my dry area - how to squueze in all microwave oven, rice cooker, water kettle..... etc etc??? i really felt like crying at that moment :~ immediately feedback to Roy, our site supervisor. he sent a photo of the kitchen to Henry, who called back to me shortly. Henry: what happened? me: remember i said the hood should be right after the drop in kitchen top (if you noticed, my bottom cabinet has 2 different height)? How come now the hood so far away??? *sobz* Henry: huh? i checked the drawings, correct leh. Me: huh? Henry: i checked with carpenter first, ok? but if everything made according to drawing, then cannot simply changed leh... we discussed the drawing before mah. Me: u check first la, i also dunno why it turned out different from what i want........... That nite, i had no mood to eat dinner.... while struggling to finish my food in the hawker centre downstairs, Henry informed: 1) Carpenter did made the cabinets according the drawing 2) Somehow my wish to have a longer dry area wasn't captured 3) In any case, he discussed with the carpenter. Rectification is possible and it will be done in a few days' time then i had mood for dinner liao... keke
