  1. Hi blue I like yr soap dispenser and clock. Where did you get them from?
  2. that's bc you hao xin let seller extend stay right? So don't worry, hao xin you hao bao, what follows will be smooth and beautiful ...
  3. what we did was to do a low chest of drawers infront of the aircon ledge window, and this chest is on castors. So when servicing aircon, all we need to do is to push the chest aside. In that way, we can max the space, yet no worries about the servicing people stepping on our furniture. We also did consider building a wardrobe over the ledge window, and to make a door for aircon access. But in the end we also shelf the idea bc * can only use for hanging, since we will need to push the clothes aside for aircon access. In other words, not much function * cannot imagine strangers looking into the wardrobe since they will have to access the ledge via that way
  4. serious? so we "zhuan dao" lei - that's good news for us!
  5. I was at yr stage 2 months ago ... so despair not ... yours will come! Take yr time to recee now, though no need to commit until nearer time ...
  6. Hi thanks Joseng, 15may and neo! yes, time really flies .. still remember at the stage when i have not collected my keys and had to drool over so many beautifully renovated houses .. and now mine is at the last leg! So far reno has been relatively smooth going, but not without the usual adjustments here and there, some delay, additional $$ incurred for some scope of work, some "if only ..." sentiments. But other than those, have to say that we have no major complaints so far. 3 weeks to go!
  7. hi insane thanks! I will be there tomorrow!
  8. LOL .. reminds me of this mtv of this singing group, and the man who got stuck in the toilet bc no toilet paper
  9. the toilet holder looks neat, but only worry is dunno how strong the suction is? So far those suction type hangers that I have tried does not last for very long ... so scaly the suction give way and the whole roll become wet ...
  10. thanks in advance. Maybe next week school holiday we will make a trip in. What else is good to get from JB? Might as well one shot do everything

  17. wah, cannot lah .. yr end too late already. Need to find something by middle of Sept, any recommendations? What's the average price range for a bedding set (bedsheet, blanket, pillow, protector etc) for queen size bed and single bed? No need branded or expensive type, but just comfy will do.
  18. sure u wanna do that? what if the fumes go into the fabric? I would consider putting toys in kitchen cabinet if there is extra space there, but clothes ah ... not sure do u keep hard copies of yr girls' photos? In those days when digital storage is not the norm, we print out tonnes of photos and keep them in album. OMG, so many boxes of them! Now I am wondering how ever to find a space for them?

  22. wah, 10 days continuously? That's really too long. For me, a few days I don't see work already I feel uneasy. Actually, when this happens (though not many times, thankfully), I always find myself in a dilemma. Want to find fault with contractor, yet don't want to push. Tried to justify that he is doing this in our interest. Say the lapse is necessary eg to let xxx dry before proceeding with next stage of work etc. So if I rush him and he just does it quickly, it may not be to my best interest in the long term. That's why I say best is to have a work schedule, then will have basis to ask if he falls behind schedule.
  23. ok then maybe no point going in to buy, think too much trouble if the savings is not substantial. Sam got from hommage right? Went to the shop before, they got alot of catalogue, but that's the prob - catalogue. Some items we just like to see and feel physically. But i think i will get the children's wardrobe /table/bookshelf from them.
  24. is the tap v heavy? on the contrary, i was advised to mount the tap (not industrial type) on the sink instead of worktop for longer durability. Was unsure, but agreed to that suggestion anyway
  25. so how? u contacted them about the skirting? what's their response?
