Same situation here. For my case. My tenant sometimes can come home quite late....then slept till quite late too. My air con is non-invertor type. Hence for eg me and hubby slept at 11pm - 630am daily. but my tenant on air con from 12am till 12pm or even later i would not know as i already gone to work. So just imagine the usuage....basically is almost daily 12hrs minimum air con usage!! Somemore she had lab top, reading lamp & a 24hrs power on "radio"alarm clock in her room. She use my 8.5kgs washer once a week and i use 2 times a week. I used to give her 2 days a week too..but i realise she use my washer olso when she just have 5-6pcs of clothings!! So eventually i feel that a day is sufficient for her. Although my tenant seldom at home...but i realise my utilities bills had raise our usual 80 (before our tenant) to 170 for the past few months and now whopping $230 this month!!! Its only 3 person in the house including my tenant!!! I get a real SHOCK!!! I do not know if it is because of the recent 10% hike in the bills or mis-used of electricity somewhere?i do not intend to raise her rental yet..i wanna monitor first..but tot of sharing with her the hike of my bills and if she can help us by exercise more saving in some ways too? Is it nice to do it this way??In dilema!!

Hi all.. Actually can just use normal bleach and it will do the trick. I used to use duck mold remover too.. ever since i can't find tat anywhere...i use normal bleach and it works perfectly too. Somemore its cheap! Just need to transfer the bleach to ur old duck mold bottle...and spray!!! Try it!!

I realise that recently there are some noise coming out from my compressor unit whenever we switch on the air con. The sound comes and goes. Mine is 3 In 1 Unit. It is not a very loud disturbing noise...but i worry it may become louder if we don't do anything about it... Any idea what's wrong with my compressor?? What kind of servicing is needed usually for condenser & usually how much does it cost??? Any expert advise please?? Thanks in advance!! : )

Hi My air con keep giving me problems and i am rather frustrated. So need some advises here. First it started with the same leaking problems at the same spot over and over again. Haiz...last year when it occured, we call back the installater (cos we have 3 years installation warranty)...and these people told us tat need to change the whole trunking cos the water cannot drain out properly due to the thickness and the pipe is lay flat..not slope due to the place i install my aircon!Then they olso told us about condesation problem..i dun understand by what they mean by that lei..i have air con for so many years at my parents place..we do not have such problems. Only occassionally leaking due to poor maintaince.but after servicing it works fine liao. But now....!!!! Haiz...maybe i shld take a pics and post here. See if there's any design fault where i install my air con? and olso why they never advise us before hand? I feel rather cheated as we paid $168 workmanship to have the whole trunking changed..& for less than a year time..it starts leaking again at the same spot....then worse of all...it cause the main power to trip. May i know how come the power will trip???!! now my hsuband say want to ask them to come back to check for us again and demand them to re do properly for us for free!! But i thought of maybe asking other service man to get a second opinion.. So i really need some expert advise from you guys what is better way for us?
