Yup, me driving this Sunday, so u and bluberi of course can tompang Btw, is it gonna be 2pm or 3pm at Cantona's place? I have to tell u first, I may need your help in directions, bcos Jurong is one of my weakest routes  New Zealand is also a good place to visit

Hi accgoh !! Well, it also depends on whether you'll be using LPG cylinder gas or CityGas, as suspended cabs can't really take the weight of a 14-kg LPG cylinder, unless you intend to use piped CityGas. Yes, it's the IN thing to have suspended bottom cabs, so do kitchen islands now. And you'll need to consider other factors such as: - total storage space required in the kitchen and kitchen's layout & size - living/cooking lifestyles (cook & entertain, weekly cooking, daily cooking), habits and lifestage (single, just married, married with kids, multi-generation or empty nesters) - any built-in appliances such as wine chiller, ovens, dishwasher, etc. You could also consider the The Kitchen Wish List, to help you to organise your thoughts and ideas abt your dream kitchen.

Bluberi, no worries....in no time with practice...you'll be able to do it half the current time Jiayou! Jiayou! Tips: - slow fire when frying the begedel. - can add minced meat that has been pan-fried w/o any oil, until all juices are dried up. Then add into the fried potatoes before shaping. - can add steamed/boiled mashed carrots before shaping, for colour & extra vege when feeding kids. - can add sprinkling of curry powder before shaping, for extra spice flavour.

Hi guys Sorry if recently i MIA, just recovered from a recent flu. Too blur and groggy to even log in recently. The medicines really can knock me out. Applefreak - Hope u recover well soon. I think it's the flu season and in the air, so must take care and drink lotsa water hor. This Saturday, 10 Nov is still on, by the way. I've email u the photo links via yousendit.com, so pls look out for it. Bluberi - Wahh! Yipeee! Finally u got the curtain that u wanted This Saturday confirmed....cooking lesson #1: soto ayam with chilli on the side, with begedel (fried savoury potato patties). I've email u the photo links via yousendit.com, so pls look out for it. MaCe - Yes Sir! What is it that u wanna ask me? Sorry lah, my PM inbox always full. U can email me also lah (check out my profile). Val - U also onz or not for the cooking lesson? I've email u the photo links via yousendit.com, so pls look out for it. Compassvale - Nice tree!! Very swee Cantona - I'll need to check with hubby if he's able to come along on 25th. He very okay mood today, bcos Liverpool has put a smile on his face, ha ha! Anybody else joining in on 10 Nov?
-
Hee hee, u mean the soto ayam with the chilli padi in soy sauce issit? Thank u, am glad u like it Rainy season starting soon oredi, we can arrange for a saturday afternoon to have a cook-in
-
Hee hee, saturday afternoons sounds fine No worries lah, there's always a first in everything in life. Who knows....with time and practice, will grow from zero to hero leh I got two types of favourite Twinings tea to choose: Earl Grey (strong and aromatic) or Lady Grey (mild and soothing)?

I'm ok with dogs actually. I find all three of them very cute! It's just that we have to ensure that there's no contact with the saliva, as well as wet hand on dry fur or dry hand on wet fur, that's all. Worse come to worse I bring along rubber gloves lah  What I'm worried abt is not your pets that disturb me, but rather it's my son who might disturb them bcos he's one kaypoh fella
-
Count me in If my hubby not working that day, then perhaps will come along with our son too.
-
Congrats Light! You've got a beautiful streamlined home, with clever use of space and light. And excellent choice of smooth flowing backdrop with splashes of accent colours. A remarkable transformation, I must say
-
Hee hee, I know what you're talking abt But fret not, my friend, there are so many ways to overcome it Wait till u see my son, then you'll know what me & hubby went through
-
Thank u for your compliments Hee hee, these two areas are the only two areas that the reno budget cannot cut The chicken satay goreng & the gravy is already pre-mixed lah, bought it from hubby's friend. Just need to cook the marinated meat until dry and for the gravy until fragrant. But the soto ayam is quite easy, it's the 2nd time I cook it. When u free, sure why not....can learn at my place and have a mug of earl grey tea Anyway, I still in Year 1 in Home Cooking, still got more to learn leh. Only when I started to shift in, then bo pian have to cook alone, most of the time just call my mom over the phone for recipes and methods. Hubby is my guinea pig, as usual :dribble:
-
When the sky is dark and raining, a good cup of hot chocolate or earl grey tea......wah...heaven Compassvale, you've got mail!
-
Had a great time too! Looking forward for the next gathering Wah!! Cheese party and chocolates! I love chocolates! Perhaps I bring along strawberries as well..... Btw, when's the cheese party date? And yes, finally got the chance to meet u after so long...since singapore brides.

wah lau...romantic sia....

Aiyah, no need to paisey or 'pay' for dinner lah. I'm more than happy to have fellow neighbours - old & new - come over my place and makan! (I think I'm sounding more like my MIL on this !! ) Anyway, it's still Hari Raya what..... Ok, whoever can't make it in time for the unit tours, pls drop by my place later (since it will be the last stop) for makan/dinner before you proceed to BLISS hor. Just don't be shocked to see the current state of my study room - messy as ****! Even after one year, still cannot finish tidying up... But all other areas are ok liao.
-
Hi applefreak !! Alamak, order pizza? If my place is the last stop, then we all can have either soto ayam or chicken burittos or maybe chicken satay goreng for dinner !! As for BLISS, most probably I can't go bcos by then it's my son's bedtime. Why don't we also invite Odie, Zeny, Ahnah and the rest to meet at my place before going to BLISS?
