Hahaha yah we tried calling Mr Chew as recommended.. Around Nov/Dec last year. But his business is too good because of the upcoming CNY so he wasn't accepting any more orders until after. But since then we kinda lost steam to decorate our house any further

Hey jeffcraze, sorry to hear about the latest case.. Think it's a case of miscomm on their part so not so bad right? Our reuel samson gellido has come back to haunt us recently too.. Another moneylender sent us a demand letter but we emailed back to say that he has changed his address and attached all the police reports and surprisingly we never heard from them again.. Hope this is the last of it. Don't you just hate people with bad credit histories who don't change their addresses???!!!!! Sidetrack: When is the next round of house-warming??

Yup yup.. Abit of water will collect under the tap, but shouldn't be a problem if u use the tap often.. My problem with it is very hard to gauge the on/off of the tap.. More than once i got reprimanded by darkfear cos I left the water running.. Hehe.

Hey Banned, sorry for the late reply. Yes Hubby has gone for a biz trip so unfortunately he hasn't replied u earlier. To me, looks like your water pressure is stronger than ours, so the diameter of the water flow is larger.. And probably something to do with the levelling like darkfear says too.. Cos the right side looks like it has got more water flow.. Here's a pic of ours (max water flow):

wahahah OPC! hmm but yes, now that you've mentioned it, I recall this incident when the carpentry sub-cons were around to install my kitchen cabinets, and when Jaskel arrived at the house, he looked so serious and fierce I was quite scared to point out an error with the bar counter installation. *gulp* Very very different from the smiley Jaskel we’re so used to. GAME FACE!! Come to think of it, our reno was so hands-off that that was the first and last time we ever met Jaskel’s sub-cons. Heheh. I think we trust him a lot. BTW, kudos to Jaskel’s carpentry sub-con. Was very impressed to find out that he came down to our house last Saturday and took back many more scratched laminates to replace on his own accord. That's what i call good service

Huat ah!! Good luck on the handover! Your house looks really great btw! Agree with solitaire on the SS. I wouldn't want a "rectified", substandard piece either if it was their bloody fault in the first place.. Push to have it replaced!!! Basic consumer rights, y'all!!

haha i think it's because it's our first reno so we're still blur blur. But can really vouch for Jason's efficiency because everytime we point out defects, the next time we visit the house, it's all rectified! Which reminds me.. Gotta email him the list of rectification to do.......

*nudges darkfear* are we the only ones who complained that he was moving too fast? Makes us seem like we’re not too eager to move in together. Haha!

Updates!! Had a mini-handover ceremony yesterday night about 9pm But even before that, hubby and I rushed down to the John Little expo sale for some bedding shopping! Our bed's arriving tomorrow! We arranged the meeting at 9pm but were pleasantly surprised to find Alex and Keith already there at 8.30pm (and Jason sitting in his car). Thank you all for always being punctual. It means alot when you take care not to waste your customers' time. Much-awaited 10.5ft wardrobe from Hommage arrived yesterday! Will try to move the wardrobes tomorrow to check and get Hommage to replace the piece if possible. So lucky Jason and team refused to acknowledge receipt on our behalf so that in the event that there are any problems we can still hold Hommage responsible! Smart!! Dining set, mattress and bedframe to be delivered tomorrow! And the rest of the scratched kitchen cabinets too! And the assembly of the pull-out dish rack which I super love.

Yup still can't believe Jason helped us buy the bamboo pole covers. BEST CONTRACTOR AWARD! Haha! Of course, provided she's willing to lend me! Then our dainty dogs can doggy dance together. darkfear has a dog too but he's smelly. Official move-in date will be 17 October, although the house is 99% ready. It's the furniture that's delaying us! darkfear and I have been dragging our feet in the furniture-shopping.. Curtains are another headache........

Thanks jeffcraze! Jason's been diligently QC-ing and we've been pointing out some issues requiring rectification along the way, so hopefully any rectifications will be minor! And sorry for missing your open house. We haven't been on renotalk diligently and we were out with Jason last Saturday. Look forward to another round of housewarming if possible though. Heh. THEY ABSOLUTELY CANNOT GET AWAY SCOT-FREE FOR CALLING US TO TELL US NO STOCK ON THE ACTUAL DELIVERY DATE!

Yeah asking Jaskel to make us a custom one was our inital idea too.. Cos we didn't want our study to be ugly compared to the other rooms cos that's the place we did the least reno in.. But he advised us against it cos it's not very worthwhile.. So now we gotta headache and go around finding nice tables for two.. Erm. You sure u wanna spraypaint an entire table?? Sounds highly complex.

Congrats!! I think you won't regret asking Jaskel to do your reno..
