  1. Forgotten to tell you,if u saw the trail, pls do not disrupt it as they will leave that trail. But usually, iif its a large colony, they will build a new 'mrt track' nearby soon enough.Pls monitor it regularly the surrounding area nearby.
  2. Since its landed, pls check the surrounding including the soil area.since u already found the trail and already called the pest control, ask them to trace the trail to any possibility area that re visible. If you re comfortable with the so call spot treatment,by all means go ahead, but do keep a look out on nearby areas few days/weeks after its done(usually they will form new trail if it is not eliminated). But if its quite a bad and u saw some in tne soil, try to do a soil treatment. How old is your house or that building?
  3. Is the crack very obvious or theres alot of it making it very unsightly?or just tiny hairline which is normal and usually can be just paint over.Usually the management will get the main con to rectify it if its still under warranty.Act fast.
  4. For domestic use,Mitsubishi and Daikin is the most so called reliable and silent compared to others even that it may cost more than the others,If it is installed by a reliable installer,it will give you less headache before the 'sickness' starts to kick in.Trust me.... As for the lightings,re u using those 36w fluorescent tube?Try to talk to your electrician to replace that fittings n bulbs to T5 type,if you have some moolah to spend and you will save in the long run.Or you can ask your electrician to modify/separate those lightings to a few switches instead if 1,that way,you won't have to switch all the lights on if its bright enough, that shouldnt cost that much than replacing all those fittings i guess
  5. The powder treatment re so call spot treatment where small scale or nest termite were suspectedbut it will deactivate thhat trail. and if is a large colony it won't be effective and they will soon buid a new trail. But just to comfirm, what kind of house/home are you staying in?And is it in the groud floor? If its juz a small trail, should be ok,but if you re staying on those ground level type of house, better not take termites problem lightly, check those surrounding as termites can cause alot of problem and that i've saw before.can even damage you electrical thingy and makes things goes haywire causing alot of problem/damages.
  6. Hi can you try to snap the exact location of where the wall is hacked and the wet surface so we might get a clearer picture? Is the floor keeps getting wet even after you wipe it?or the wall surface is always damp? If its not, hold on.... can be not from your copper pipe.....
  7. From personal experience(pls don't flame me if my findings re different from yours ok,im just trying to share). I tried taking both paints with similar quality level on few different locations before and my findings re: - ICI tends to "glow" and have better colour contrast if u paint both brand with the same quality, colour side by side. Espescially under lightings. -Nippon seemto last longer. The choice is yours...juz my view pls.
  8. Hi,from what you have written I guess there is maybe a small percentage that the problem is coming from your pipes. Can come from other problem too.Do ask your installer/technician to check it out first. If your old a/c pipes re performing ok when you change your a/c, I guess there is little chance that it may leak somewhere in the middle of the pipe or those concealed area n i think they will do a pressure test when or during the installation time. I usually encounter those leak re at the joining area/parts of the pipes when they replace the a/c units. I think they should know if they re honnest enough to you. On the other hand, the most important process to to be sure of problem free, is mostly during the installation period.Theres alot of things to consider and if you've got a good installer is those who wont rush in their work to take their time to inspect all those minor minor little error that can give you a big time headache that most people don't realize. Since you re using your old/existing pipes I do hope they flush your pipes....
  9. Yes,agree. Sharp is noisier compared to most other brand.Only plus point is parts re cheaper when comes to repair time.
