Hi All, I just got myself a 4-room resale flat. Now, my headache is whether to hack the entire toilet (master & common) flooring or not? Should I just do overlay? As this house is only 5 yrs old, it's 'neither here nor there'. What are the pros and cons of overlay?

Reasonable?
RenoJoy posted a topic in Renovation Contractors, Interior Designers & Suppliers Reviews
My studio apartment is small ... less than 380sq ft. Contractor quoted me $6.8k for a feature wall with built-in storage, c/w mirror a glass partition between living area and bedroom plus painting (the most 2 walls only!) plus wiring/lighting Is it reasonable? This is my first time (owning a place and reno). What should I be looking out for? I do not want to be 'sotong' and get 'chopped'. Appreciate advice(s) from all the 'old birds' here -

Hi hi ... newbie here. Was googling for more info on a particular furniture shop when I chanced upon this forum. Got a question. What do you think of placing DEPOSITS with the furniture shop? for something which you will only get to use it like 1 or 2 years down the road depending on the TOP of your place? I was told that prices of stuff will increase, hardly decrease. GST might increase etc.... So was advised to put a deposit. Which of us in sane mind would do that? If so, why?? Please enlighten me.
