This is a tour for people who hav seen the world but not this itinerary called the Silk Road. We will be travelling from one end of China (BJS) to the other next to Pakistan / Kazakstan ...that's where all the 'stans' cities are around there. I am just excited as I have not been to these places, far away from the bustling cities.

Bro Kobelala Following all the 'pang sai' topics in your and my post, I finally remembered your above request and took some pictures of my children's 'pang sai' place while I removed the junks for mini spring cleaning last week. The Service Balcony - left and right view. This is the left side of the service balcony where I placed the washer and laundry hanger. On the right are the Common bathroom and toilet. I didn't want to combine them into one because I have 3 children using these facilities. So, we have separate shower and 'pang sai' area as original layout. The rubbish chute is atthe corner. facing the 'pang sai' toilet. Hmmmm...quite good layout planning in the late 1970s.

Location & direction must not be confused. You could in the South Sector of the house, West sector of the house, or East sector of the house, but you can be facing North. Sickness star #2 Black is at South Sector of the house in 2011.

Since long time our friend didn't update the progress, and I brought along my camera with me all the time, I might as well clicked a few pictures while we went up to his place. I'm an unskilled photographer, so apologize for any badly taken images.

Sharing here what can be done to simply secure the windows along corridor: My children's previous EM at Bukit Batok, their late father simply use this method of inserting a wooden rod inside the track. My friends' homes in Malaysia, they are also using the same method for their sliding grilles.

Give you some clue from Ely1 post in May's thread Yesterday, 02:02 AM All of you are such a sweet bunch - super cute friends78 & partner, pixie Marshy, Duchess Adidaem, easy-going boyblunder, Ugene & lovely partner, knownothing (omg you're a guy!), heartwarmingly-genuine sleek (with your cute as a button kid), classy Mae (that photo in ST did not do you any justice at all), surprisingly-quiet csingeu & gorgeous wife. ...but Ely & The Husband were not in the picture when we took the photograph at friends78's place. also absent at friends78's place are Adidaem & boyblunder.

My most concern is the floors are not protected with corrugated boards at ALL!! I was worried that they may be scratches as works are still going on....with workers seen carrying & moving things around. I thought it should be a practice to lay protection once the floorings are done?

Continued from above: Windows & view at MBR: Ceiling at the LivingRoom done: The Balcony ... with the steel bracket for aircon compressor ...and you guess who are these people (excluding the photographer - mae29)..
-
Continued from above: The staircase railings...csingeu is unhappy with the workmanship
-
continued from progress updating: Master Bedroom: Entrance to his MBR: The toilet with the controversial discussion on shower bay: The WC area: Common toilet: Nice wall tiles...but may not be easy to maintain when dirt accumlates..

Exactly, that's why my kitchen is the only place I have flourecent White tube ceiling light. Anyway, the fsm already advised me that my house must be bright & I'm now getting used to having more lights. All my downlights are warm White lights. I will also feel dizzy if there are too many warm lights.
