  1. Selling a Blue-Dot Strut X-Large Dining Table in white. Item was purchased from Pomelo Home in March/April 2013 and because we are now relocating to Sydney, we decided to let it go as the federation homes down under cannot accommodate this beautiful table in this size. It is great for entertaining and it really is "dope" (as the website suggests). It easily sits 8 people. I am not able to take photos as at the time of this posting I am in Sydney. I will be back in Singapore on 6th April 2015 until 14 April 2014, so any viewings and collection can only be done from then on. From recollection, there are no blemishes etc as we protected the table with clear plastic sheet but again, this post will be updated on my return when I inspect the table. Table cost $2.5K in Pomelo but am willing to let go at $1.5K. You may link yourself at http://www.bludot.com.au/strut-table-extra-large.htmlto read more on the table (dimensions and materials etc). Thanks!
  2. Hello, Do you think you can share with me th price list as I think the link on ASL's website is being updated and I want to rework our electrical quote to incorporate this for our new flat as our media corner has too many wires/points grrr Thanks so much in advance. My email is marnie.mnoor@gmail.com
  3. Hi Jamie, Your kitchen wall looks good! I have the same in my current kitchen. Simon intro Henry to us and we have Henry oin our shortlist currently. Just wondering, are your cement screeded kitchen walls smoothened? Big point for us as we are doing that for a major part of our floors.
  4. I am starting and posting this on behalf of another forummer Danizick Danizick who seems to have trouble starting the thread. She wants to know whether any RT members have any comments/opinion on LoveHome Design at Toa Payoh as she intends to hire them and would like to suss out quality etc. Thanks! Much appreciated!
  5. We met with Json a few nights ago having read so much about him and through recommendations through RT. We're still waiting for his quote. We told him that we wanted to do cement screeding flooring for much of our 1st floor masionette. I know his workmanship is good based on feedback by forummers who used him but wanted to find out about the cement screeding aspect. Are his workers any good? No disrespect to him but to pull off a cement screeding flooring is an art by itself and I am such an anal person..hehhe..Jason mentioned he did for someone almost the entire home cement screeding - just wondering if that person is a forummer here?
  6. Hey all! I love this thread! We are now awaiting our 1st appointment at HDB mid November to purchase our EM in Woodlands. And because we're doing contra, we really need to get things going re. renovation wise. Just spoke to Mr Yeak and he's turned down our project to start in December as he's got way too many projects on hand. Waiting for Jason to revert on his quote. I think I am almost afraid to pengsan to see the quote as we have to do a major overhaul of the flat. Any recommendations for reliable contractors?
  7. Hi, Please can you PM me your painter's contacts? Much appreciated! Thanks!
  8. Hi, I commiserate. My hubs and I went through the exact same thing when we bought our current unit albeit in Yishun. Our renovation was delayed by almost a month with us communicating directly with HDB and a PE we engaged. All said, we are still not allowed to hack one wall of the store room so at least, we got some kind of respite - there's a wall between the living room and the current dining room (where the store room used to be). Our communication with the HDB is that old HDB flats are designed by a Japese and although the particular wall we wanted come down was not load-bearing, they didn't want to set a precedent (in their own words!) I hope you will work your way through around the store room cos' I know how it feels to not being able to get anywhere.
  9. Hi bashfulsim, I'm keen on your contact to get a feel of Jason. Is he youngish...? You may drop his contact at my email marnie.mnoor@gmail.com if it's not convenient to do it here. Thanks!
