Do note that Plasma consumes lots of electricity.

For 3D TVs, get LG model 6500 with 200mhz. You wont regret. Will be getting that soon or wait till September's IT/PC show.

They recommended Roomba as it is more durable. I am confused

This site is selling at competitive price. Most likely getting from them. http://autovacstore.com/

Had top up another $200 for Blum drawers. Hope to see good and quality drawers soon.

Clementi has a shop that does framing. Maybe can approach them. Anyway, I just ordered a few posters from allposters.com sizes are 86x56cm

I had told my ID to use BLUM for my kitchen drawers, with a $200 top-up.

I had googled. No reviews yet

Any Lobang For Cheap High Back Director Chair
Drexter replied to robster's topic in Home Furnishings
Also looking for one. VHIVE selling quite ex. -
In addition, I think it is better to spend a bit more now than having problems later on. Can you imagine after a year and the soft closing drawers starts to malfunction? It's a pain to fix it.
-
A year later, the soft closing does not work as well. No more suction at the last part of the closing. Closing of drawers getting louder. PS: However, he mentioned that I can still use their hinges as they are cheap and easily replaceable(they have lifetime warranty for their hinges). Whereas for drawers, cannot replace easily.
-
Its cheaper. Just $23 plus minus, depends on depth. Hinge HH003 (Comes in 2 sizes, 16mm or 19mm, depending on wood) http://www.excelhw.com.sg/store/hh003n.htm Drawer soft closing DTC-S10 series. Depending on depth (450mm, 500mm, 600mm, etc). http://www.excelhw.com.sg/store/catalogsearch/result/?q=dtc-s10&x=0&y=0

I bought my sofa at Seahorse. Good price and good quality. That is a cheaper option.
-
BLUM definitely the best but expensive. If you have spare budget, go for blum. If not, the china ones depends on luck. Some owners can use very long, some just use abt a year and its gone.

Any Recommendations For Cheap Wrought Iron Gate (Hdb) Type Supplier
Drexter replied to robster's topic in Home Furnishings
panggiap88. They have a wide range of iron gates. Will be using them soon. http://www.panggiap88.com.sg/ -
I thought of using their DTC-S10 ranges of soft closing drawers, but my carpenter told me that he had a few complaints from customers using them after a year. DTC-S10 is definitely a cheaper choice than using BLUM, just dunno about their quality. Have anyone use them ? Any reviews?

Nice. anyone knows IKEA frames are in which size?

We are just being nice and knew that no reno is perfect.

Another incident. First, ID told us that the toilet window application for single panel was not approved. So he installed the 3 panel window. Days later, we received the letter from HDB, I was shocked that it was stated single panel toilet window application approved. Did we make a big fuss? Another incident. The common toilet wall was over-hacked which caused a big hole in the master bedroom as shown in the pic below. Is that serious? Did we make a big fuss?

Since you quote, I think I also quote lo. We signed up for sliding doors for wardrobe in the contract. Knowing that one side cant be sliding doors due to the space constraint after carpenter on-site measurement and will be using casement, I thought the difference in sliding and casement could afford for soft closing hinges, therefore I msg the following. Quote: Me: Wardrobe is casement, is same as those doors. And sliding doors are more expensive than casement so should be able to cover right? ID: If u calculate tis way. I can do as per sliding doors. Unquote Attitude?

Yes, I do not deny that I appreciate all the FOC items he had given. Which is why, I didn't ask for more. If he says cant FOC anymore, I also bobian. I am just not satisfied what has promised and not given. Perhaps, I focused too much on soft-closing stuff right from the start.
-
We emphasized on the soft closing everytime we meet. It was clearly promised and not supplied. He himself told me that heavy duty 3 tier sys is soft closing. Which he misinterpret wrongly and didn't know that Excel has soft closing drawers that are similar to BLUM. What is the result when you google soft closing drawers? Result is 3 tier sys? Anyway, I can't blame him, cos I signed on the contract. Yes, you are right. But I dun have anymore money to top up, how? Does that tell you that I am a bad customer? Lights of the same model elsewhere is easily cheaper than what we bought. Knowing that going to light shop ourselves and with ID has a price difference. But we are ok to go with him as his service at that point of time is satisfactory and I know that he could also earn some commission from there. Mae, No ID is perfect. Just admit and get over it. Next time, explain clearly to customers. We are all layman. Know nothing about renovation.
