My advise is if possible, try not to get reno loan. After consideration, we did not get reno loan and pay some of our big items (Aircon, Flooring, Mattress) with credit card 0% installment instead. In that way, u save a bit on interest.

Went up to take a look at the progress today. Realised that there are some communication breakdown with choice of paints. We intend to use Nippon Medifresh product for whole house. As stated by Nippon, Medifresh offers protection from harmful bacteria such as MRSA, E-Coli and Staphylococcus Aureus. It is a long lasting coat that promotes better hygiene and health, while keeping the surroundings clean and fresh. Hope it helps improves my wife's sinus. Was surprised to see ICI paint in our house. We chose Nippon but painter mentioned ICI is better. We have no idea which is better. Anyway, his intention is to have ICI for the first coat and Nippon last coat. Will clarify with the painter tmr.

Most of the shops out there sell items separately. I am not sure the things you bought are from Europe. If europe brand, your price is quite decent. I spent about $1900 for 2 toilets and kitchen sink. Including mirrors, basin, tap, toilet bowls, etc. Mixture of China and Europe brands.

Update from ID that the "One Piece" toilet window has been rejected by HDB. We can only change back to the same 3 piece window.

Called Hoe Kee showroom, they mentioned that the salesperson wrote the wrong item number. They will deliver tomorrow.

First encounter from HOE KEE today. Delivered the wrong vanity top and basin. Short of one pipe. Told the old uncle wrong product, the uncle refused to take back. Want us to call the showroom and tell them to change. Fortunately, I took a photo of the vanity top at the showroom.
