Robinsons' centrepoint is selling 3 types of irobots - i think one for vacuum, one for mopping and one for sweeping. Quite pricey - about ~$1k anyone has any experience in using irobots? worth the money? thanks in advance!

pardon my ignorance - is a water based vacuum cleaner better? Have been looking at vacuum cleaners for the last 2 days.. - from what i gathered : VC with bag - use until bag is full then discard, downside is having to buy replacement bags : VC bagless - need to empty the dust collected into a plastic bag then swipe clean after use - downside is can get dusty .. : water based VC : dust will be dissolved into the water, just need to discard the dirty water after use, downside is the VC tend to be quite big and bulky and expensive Can anyone with any experience advise me? I have not done much household chores in the past but will be starting to do when we move into our new place next month..

oh i didnt know kelvin giormani is from China ? Not sure where they actually manufacture it but i think they say that their grade 1 leather is from europe, grade 2 and 3 from south america.. BTW, hlkhl and jeddie - can i ask if your sofa is from the kelvin giormani range or their inhouse brand? Thanks in advance!

hi jeddie, is your sofa from the kelvin giormani range? am interested to buy a sofa from this range - but am horrified by the pictures that hlkhl has posted ... puts me completely off buying a leather sofa!

chanced upon this site when i was looking at types of leather. http://www.planumfurniture.com/leather/leather-description/trend-grade-a/ This furniture shop explains the different nomenclature of the different types of leather .. help to explain that "top grain" doesn't mean "best" leather - it's actually been processed and emobossed.. etc etc hope this will help those who are confused about the types of leather that salespeople talk about..
