  1. I have 4 cow horn chairs for sale. Items are all brand new and in perfect condition. Asking for $150 each. Chairs are in dark brown wood and black trimmings. Do contact me at 97539255 for more pictures if interested
  2. My vote goes to option 3... As i feel that the general color of the rug will blend in well with the fixtures while the specks of yellow/gold will brighten up the area without overwhelming it.
  3. A brand new wash basin for clearance as it is excess from my renovation. Item is well made and looks nice and modern in any toilet. Dimensions of the basin is 47.5L x 37.5W x 13H. Picture can be seen at my craigslist post: http://singapore.craigslist.com.sg/fuo/4122629518.html Do PM me if you have any questions.
  4. I ordered my flooring from Kronotex. Took the Mammut range in coffee capital oak color. The thing I liked about Kronotex is that it comes with a latex underlay, which reduces the hollow feeling that comes with laminates. They were also kind enough to include a anti termite film which they will lay below the underlay as well. I think we have pretty similar taste as I have the same octopus lamp as well! But I'm using that for the carporch... just hope that it is a lil weatherproof...
  5. Very nice floors! I should be getting mine installed in a week's time or two... May i ask what kind of underlay they provided? Did they provide an anti-termite layer as well? I would like to use the metal strip as the separator as well. But my guys told me that they are unable to do that as the metal strip doesn't provide the space required for expansion....
  6. I had my doubts as well, which was why i initiated a meetup with him before any transaction... Found him to be trustworthy and honest... and besides, i know where he lives... so i don't think he's out to cheat my money... have bought over $4k of stuff through him already... in terms of savings, i would easily estimate more than 4-500 of savings in terms of shipping... The thing i appreciate most is that he will help to chase up on items that are delayed from the supplier side as well as provide updates on item deliveries. But all of these are my personal experience, respect that everyone will have their own doubts..
  7. Greg, can consider using my guy to get your taobao stuff... the shipping is def cheaper than that... And i'm pretty happy with his service... His email is sghomeaccessories@yahoo.com.sg. Have bought a lot of items through him... Find that he is very trustworthy & responsive. Just have to email him the links and specify what you want and transfer via TT.
  8. Pleasure is mine! The webbie is below, but the pages there seems a lil dingy. http://www.hommagelifestyle.com/ They carry items from Bryght ( http://www.bryght.com/). I like the stuff there and surprisingly, the prices quoted were prety reasonable.
  9. Very nice concepts you have there. Think this bedframe may work for you: Its something that i wanted, but pity its not available in King. You can get this at Hommage.
  10. I bought the pole system and the quality is pretty good and solid. Have just opened it out to test, but have not put it to use yet. It is as sturdy, if not more sturdy than the Ikea poles.
  11. Just sharing because i know there are a lot of people out there who are looking for the best way to purchase from Taobao... I used Jack's services to buy a ton of stuff and am glad to share that they all came in good condition! Having used 65daigou before, i would highly recommend going through Jack if you have bulky or multiple items to purchase on Taobao. (I shipped 22 boxes of stuff including lights, sinks and toilet fittings over). Jack did all the ordering and coordination on my behalf. All i do is email him my shopping list and transferred him cash to pay for the purchase and subsequently for the shipping. I've done my fair bit of research to look for the best rates because i had a really long list of items to buy and i would have to say that I'm very satisfied with the service that Jack provides and his rates are really good too! Thumbs up!
  12. There is already an existing thread discussing Ikea kitchen. You may want to use the search function first before starting a new thread.
  13. Yes, according to my engineer. Depends on the area and soil quality. Will be using a raft foundation instead.
