Actually I feel the finish for the red brick wall is great cos it's suppose to be in the raw state thus the uneven cement grouting can even bring out that feel much better !! IMO the imperfection made it more perfect...

Hi Jeech I had pm u for the contact IMO the difference between ID and contractor is just the 3D drawing. There is no 3D drawing provided unless u want to pay extra to get someone to draw. If u r someone with total no clue how u want ur house to be then probably a ID is good cos ID will come out with a total design and show u the artist impression through 3D. But if u know what u want to do for ur place and only need some advice on the feasibility and maybe some material suggestions or some ideas needed for little area then a contractor will be good. But of cos u must find a contractor that share similar taste and views as urs.. Otherwise will be like chicken talking to duck and outcome can be horrible. As for work co-ordination I feel contractor is a more handy man than ID. As u see most contractor r not those young young boys they have real on site experience and my contractor is at my site every single time when there is on going work to check and ensure. But for ID I see many cases if home owner is there but ID maybe only goes to site once a week.. But of cos there are good ID around.. But maybe too young ID not as good experience and they still need to learn from their subcon. So some things can do or cannot do they may not know until their subcon tells them... As for my designs I did research through magazines and approach many ID for quotation and steal one or 2 ideas from them and put together all the ideas ourselves together with my contractor's help. So no 3D purely by own visualization. Super worried that it will not turn out good but I guess I'm quite lucky that the place turn out not bad..

No choice... Cheap mah.. So just buy to use first ba. So far we only bought those small items from ikea like step stool, coffee table etc.. My hubby likes to assemble furniture haha he say gives him a sense of satisfaction haha.. So let him do it then.

Ya me too went many place also find any i like, otherwise is the price too high or design doesnt justify the price. Probably I'll grab this from ikea too.. Can't splurge on every item and I saw one simple white one from ikea for only $59 or $69. Guess that's it !! Haha

No prob!! Today I went to my home to wash clothes again haha and this time the spinning is quiet and 90% stable.. Hooray the vibration issues is gone! I'm glad I bought the washing machine from zero and they are still willing to come back to do adjustment for me. I dun think can get this kind of service from those big player like courts, HN or BD.. Now I really like washing clothes at my new home..

Hi Loob Thanks for ur compliment I had pm-ed you already for my contractor contact. oh really? but will the vibration damaged the machine in the long run? my WM supplier had did some adjustment for me but I can only fully test it on coming sat, hopefully the vibration issues can be settle. I like miele's WM too.. but really too much exceeded my budget.. not so willing to spend so much on something that cannot beautify the house...me very shallow person... initially my plan was to just buy a $299 top load WM, but after learning that front load is more gentle on clothes, I change to front loader. hoping that all my clothes can remain good condition after washing machine wash, cos now I'm doing hand wash for my clothes at my in-law house cos her top loader is always full since we have so many pax in the house now. haha...

Actually my brother in law also bought from MA one yr plus ago for his new place also MA made mistake in delivery. They only delivered 1 out of the 2 beds they ordered and had to redeliver again. Think some slight delay I still can accept la as long as dun delay too many times and most important dun send defective and old items! So far sofa delivery is good. Dining table haven't deliver and mattress delivery also ok. Dining chairs still haven't buy haha. TV delivery ok but fridge delivery date is being push back and back due to no stock Thanks for ur encouragement le.. I also think must buy a nice bed side table and a nice table lamp. Any recommendation for that? Do u think i should buy a white or black bed side table?

Now I'm sleeping on Dunlopillo at my in-law place but it's the not so ex range. I also find it quite comfortable. We chosen Sealy main reason was becos the mattress was plush. Think it's very individual preference. However I still can't judge becos I have not sleep on the Sealy for the night yet, so far lying on it for a while do feels good for me.

Thanks Ayazumi for ur encouragement. Actually the bed was Introduced by a fren and we started looking at this brand and eventually fell in love with it too hehe... Not so sure abt others though. So what brand did u buy?

Haha u know me so well.. But I think I choose the wrong color haha.. Ya the moment I saw this bed frame I like it immediately.. To compensate me for not able to have brick wall in living room so I have "brick" headboard haha I know that picket and rail design u talking abt!!! I very much like that too but not the bedframe cos too "hard" for the room. But that design works very well for cabinet, coffee table, tv console etc... But u maybe also check out commune at marina sq also have similar wood and black metal design, I also very like but couldn't buy due to dimension couldn't fit... I keep waiting for u to upload pic of ur Reno le... ^^
