Last update for today: Sofa is here and curtain for living room is also up... The grey for the sofa seems so much lighter hue in the shop kinda deceive by the lightings... find it a little too dark grey in my house.. but then again still somehow can fit in just I would love it to be of lighter shade Forgotten to update on my Washing Machine - Samsung Washer & Dryer - WD8804

Hi Wendy Are you referring to the kitchen ceiling light? It's from lightings.com under Philip lights and it's $180 and I paid another $10 to change the bulb to white light... Otherwise it's warm light.

Hi Topsy Yes it's wooden skirting provided by HDB original and it's painted black.. I quite like it too... I feel the paint helps with some waterproofing too for mopping

Ya major work all done. Now left lots of cleaning and furnishing and adding in details. Cos there was little progress at my place except for some DIY items from ikea. Today the wooden blind and roller blind came for installation, I probably will take some pic to share tomorrow. And on Monday there will be some furniture deliveries and curtain installation. So should be more pic after that. Targeting to move in by end April.

Ya my FSM also advise not to have anything directly above our head during sleeping or sitting down, so I place the aircon unit at the corridor beam. Not right above the sofa. Above the sofa got nothing not even Lbox cos of what he said. U check corridor beam can or not. Pls post more pic le.. I eager to see ur semi industrial theme la.. ^^

If u want to ensure then u got to stay. I stayed till 9pm when Yongyi was installing. (Aron's installer) once the aircon pipe is up u can't check cos all wrapped up Liao. And they usually patched all the gaps back nicely with white cement for u.. U won't want to cut open to check again de.. If u already left then maybe u can drop by again after 2 hrs.. Cos mine start at 12pm end at 9pm lo. Not sure how complicated is urs

I think no sealant. As I recalled the skirting was left unpainted and then directly painted black at the final stage of painting

Hi Romeltic actually my floor tile is ceramic floor tile which is provided by HDB as mine is a premium BTO which comes with flooring. Frankly speaking the flooring is really not something fantastic, its matt finish and got a little creamy color, I feel it still somehow can blend into my team and most importantly is I got no $$$ to hack the floor and redo...

Hi Amazone yup... I visited Koda last fri and was planning to share this info soon too. The visit was such a disappointment for me, I knew that Koda was supplying to Commune but I didnt know that they are actually the Same So Commune is actually the retail showroom for Koda and price for Koda and Commune is Same Waste my time ........... Saw something I like, but price not cheap Secretly snapped a few overview pics to share. I find their items are really quite not bad especially if you are into industrial/rustic/raw and some with modern scandinavian feel also - if only I have a bigger budget
