  1. Gosh, I have not been updating this blog for awhile... We have shifted in for almost a month and was busy with other aspects beside renovating. Need to be more hardworking and less lazy, to take some pics and upload
  2. Your subway tiles toilet reminds me of my own too... Good choice
  3. Your TV console looks on the "long" side but fits in nicely with wall Part of the fun comes from decorating or dressing up the house though most of the time it will be misses on my part Your place is looking good and huge too
  4. Curtain guy will be fixing up in 2 weeks time. We are almost ready to move after TV mount, toilet mirrors and folder table are fixed up. Plenty of stuff not bought yet such as clock, partition and many many stuffs... Will buy those after we moved in
  5. Haha, I loved that sentence that you loved your furniture taste more than your ID My ID brought me to shop for lights, toilet & kitchen accessories, furniture...etc I do believe that one of your ID job is to make sure all your furnishing complement one another. Example - you really love that shocking pink lounge chair but will it be able to blend in with your overall Scandinavian or minimalist theme? Nuff said, that is for you to decide since you will be the one staying there, not your ID
  6. Oops, the price range will be slightly different from the material you choose. Perhaps you can call them up to check
  7. Dropped by Lorgan @ Pasir Panjang, lot of retro stuffs if you are interested. It is basically split into 2 portions, retro and modern The Retro portion - managed to find old green telephone with the telephone numbers in circular setting Nice lounge chair but the colour does not fit into the overall mood You can choose your desired fabric and colours Simple and nice TV console - Kinda of retro style I like But I have bought an industrial TV console many moons ago frigginfuchsia, does this reminds you of your bedside table? It is so lovely but the price tag is on the expensive side for such a small bedside table.
  8. Thanks for dropping by... I had read through your T-blog as well. I saw a similar bedside table at Lorgan. I had a few hard choices for the living room lighting. Deciding if to spray paint to a deep red or matt silver.
  9. PM'ed I cannot remember but should be 20-40% cheaper. A few T-bloggers bought at the Grohe's sale There is a Hansgrohe's sale recently if I recalled correctly Pm'ed Pm'ed Sorry boys and girls, I dont really logged in to Renotalk as religious as before. Think I have replied to all PMs as well
  10. Looks so nice and white... ! It will be take more effort to maintain the house.
  11. Jus dropped by... I'm using crystal white tempered glass backsplash. Better heat resistance if you do cook a lot. For me, the price difference is less than $100. Not too sure about white backsplash and how different the material and colour will differ
  12. I have tested the rainshower but not with city gas. Pressure is acceptable. Gas has not been turned on yet coz my dryer has not been delivered yet!
  13. Missing for quite awhile... Some of the stuffs done - Hood & Hod installed - Oven and Fridge in place - Knobs and handles fixed up - Additional planks for shoes cabinet Pictures pictures pictures View from service yard. The all white kitchen is broken up by the black handles and knobs Taiyo induction hod and EF hood Hopefully the silver Bosch oven and Fisher & Paykel Fridge do not look out of sort with the whitey cabinets Wifey's special request for "big big" shoes cabinet Contractor was kind enough to get her carpenter to do a few more extra planks, otherwise it will be a waste of space. Problem - Some issue with my full length mirror with black spots appearing in between the glass panels. I had informed the company in charge of this and was promptly replaced with a new mirror panel. The reason given was that the wall is new and has lot of moisture which will affect the mirror, creating black spots. He has already coated a protection layer on the back of the mirror but due to the gap, there was no protection. All well until I went back the last weekend, spotted small black spots on the lower portion of the wall. Sigh! Need to call the company to rectify this again. For those considering full length mirror in their living / dining room, do think carefully.
  14. Gosh, my contractor lost my Haiku fan remote... Actually it is not her fault but the electrician guy didn't check and threw it away with the box.
