  6. in the end, imho,i think the most importantly is how you feel(coz you are the one paying) If job well done, everything swee swee..then just spend it(provided the price isnt too insane la) Its beta to get someone who know what to do rather than ownself trying to figure things out. **dont think so much le,the price you pay is of a normal market rate
  7. The parts inside are not that ex actually, estimate cost around $80+ can get. (from hardware shop) 1)provided you know what parts spoil. 2)you got the tools to change urself. 3)dont mind doing the dirty job. If not,i tink $125 is alittle bit high.
  8. You shd thank him instead. Because @ least before you have paid any $$ to him,he has shows his attitude n commitment towards his own job. imagine if you have already paid a deposit then he disappear,is'it that more worse. Just move on n get other contact ba.
  9. hi,am interested in the DIY floor lamp too. wish to try out DIY too.(isnt complicated to do?) able to pm me full details including the RGB LED light bulb with remote from aliexpress? tks alot.
  10. i think if the sales person charge you more, they can then get a bigger cut in their commission. For us as a consumers, its definitely a bad move by them.
  11. ar..i tink i know which one you talking about le.
  12. tks to bro realmplanet for your help in uploading e photos for sharing.. :sport-smiley-004: :dancingqueen: :dancingqueen:

  17. I also had install one.those normal one wif small card/key in PIN to access. & i wud say its more of a convenience than of security purposes. it look elegant(to me) & i like the hi-tech appearance As what u have mention abt your worries,(fingerprint scan),i have heard stories about thief/robbers chopping of fingers to gain access, thats why i opt for the normal type. & it turn out great, till now no regret
  18. lol. we on the same boat.. :sport-smiley-004: ok,i tonite try to email you. After see liao, dun laugh hor.
  19. FYI,dust will get into the above cabinet through the gap in between the glass panel. Imagine takin out all your collections out for dust cleaning.. dont think most of us would have the patience & strength to do it every few months. If possible,i suggest go for customise glass/acrylic cabinet specially meant for toys collection display. I mean we spend so much $$ on our collections & getting a normal display cabinet,But end up suffering(cleaning here n there, dusting every toys) Might as well(if within budget,do a solid cabinet,& you can enjoy looking @ your collections with satisfaction. i am also a toy collector(1/6 figurine).i have made a customize full height cabinet with front hydraulic side opening.Costwise is definitely not cheap.(but at least dust wont enter easily & its been 6months,& i can say dust collected inside is very minimal/none. I just dont know how to upload my cabinet to share my joy with you guyz. Mayb somebody can guide me along to upload my photos for sharing. **Sorry, din mean to offend anyone. Am a collector too. & i looooveess toys...
  20. try digging up past threads, there's info that u need.
  21. Yup,mine also those black marks, after reading newspaper n when wanna "off" the switches ,would accidentally touch the surrounding, leaving black marks here n there. Try my method, cheap n good finger exercising for you.
  22. dont know how you define how serious e marks are. For me,i just use those white color sponge(from daiso),dip wif abit of water & gently wip it off..it does work for me.
  23. yup,no point saving on materials & then later part faced with problems.Definitely no worth the trouble & the person's skill is equally important.
