U'll need to get him to breakdown, ie single gang $, dbl gang $, heater point $, 2-way switch $, etc etc.. If not, later sure alot of hidden costs popping up.

Likely the L-box opening need to be extended. Else, if the curtain rod is to be made to fit into the current spacing, the curtains will hv gaps at the edge n can't totally shade the entire windows.

Megatex hv lotsa offers n promos. Go take a look at Sg Expo (till 25 Dec). Else, u can try those neighborhood electrical stores too. Some of them are able to get low quotes for u (but less the freebies).

Will be getting this sofa over the weekend: King Koil Cassandra L-shape sofa Personal preference is to hv the base fabric as black. Still contemplating on wat colours shld the cushions be, and whether wanna hv design on them anot. The one depicted in the above pic too 'girl girl' (flowery). Any suggestion?

Plastering starting today. Next week will commence all electrical wirings & power points installation.

Toilet done: Toilet drainage (gradient slope so dat water can flow smoothly at shower area): Rubbish chute done: Starting work on kitchen island base & washing machine base: * all electrical & water pipings for kitchen area done & concealed.

U gotta chase n pester the HDB technical officer who is dealing wif ur permit. When owner calls, will put in more weight. Call n email them to expedite the application.

Can also log in to HDB and check under 'Renovation'. All ur permits are available online.

Still can be done lar.. Prob they'll use masking tapes to cover the edges. But the only setback is there'll patches of unpainted portions when removing the aircon in future..
