  2. U can try http://www.wholesale-faucet.com/category-3-b0-Bathroom-Faucet.html, price is pretty good. I bought part of my tap and shower faucet requirements from them. My plumber said not bad when he installed them. Their brushed nickel faucet is nice
  3. Did you buy the LED from the on line store that I recommended? I bought 2 pendant lamps from another shop on line as well and they are much cheaper than those (similar design) being offered locally. Both reached me in good condition but have yet to install them.
  4. Today the workers completed the polishing of both parquets in all bedrooms and the living/dinning marble floorings. The floors are now "shiningly ready" waiting for the carpentry to start work Polished marble flooringpolished parquet Polisherworker going thru their rounds
  5. I have installed a Mitsubishi Electric System 3 Inverter aircon for the 3 bedrooms. Can't share the purchase price of the aircon as it was a special deal from a friend in Mitsubishi. I have engaged PassionAir to help with the overall installation for ~$1400 (concealed installation with removal of old piping and aircon). They have actually completed the installation but have yet to collect the balance of the payment as they are still waiting for the full renovation to be completed. They will only collect after they have tested the aircon installation with me at the end of the renovation. Great and very responsible company. Aircon covered after installation to ensure that subsequent renovation will not dirty it

We purchased wallpaper for 4 walls as well as 2 bedroom blinds from them during a furniture expo show in July. Jeffery brought all the wallpapers that we have chosen earlier up to our house to finalize on the choices against our painted rooms. Thanks for carrying all the heavy wallpaper books alone Jeffery going thru the wallpaper book mbr wallpaper dining wallpaper
  13. Yes. You can either plug it directly to a 3pin socket or what I did was asking my electrician to cut and connect it to a toggle switch so that you can on it like a light switch instead of from a power socket. They will know what to do.
  14. U can consider doing a strip under the top hung kitchen cabinet to light up the kitchen top. What top are u using?
  15. Today went back to change the pole for the laundry system. The current poles are very rusty due to the years of usage. Instead of buying 8 new poles from Nam Lee which might turns rusty again, I have decided to search for stainless steel pole and DIY myself. Went to Kelantan Road and found a hardware shop, Kin Siang hardware. The uncle there is very helpful and provided me with a short piece of rod as sample for me to try out first. It fixes nicely and I went back to buy 3 poles from him (that's all he has left) and will be back to buy the rest once his stock is in. You can see the difference in the new shinning stainless pole (third from left) that I have installed from the rest. Both ends are stopped using table/chair leg rubber stopper.
  16. Your place is really BIG. Where do you plan to install the LED strips?
  17. Thinking of buying Ikea Stuva wardrobe for my daughter. Any comment on quality from those who have bought it before? Also, keen in a bed frame from Piccolo House. Appreciate comment and anyone knows on if any upcoming sales from them? Thanks.
  18. Below are the day/night curtains that we have selected: Night curtain Day Curtain For the blinds, we have been looking around for a Hunter Dxxxxxx replacement for quite a while since receiving a quote of $4K plus for the day/night honeycomb from 2 dealers. The honeycomb blinds from Mirage can do similar top/down bottom/up with day/night for a fraction of the price. Hope the final product is good... Sorry.....repeated post

  20. Tonite we confirmed our day/night curtain (living room) and honeycomb blinds (mbr) from Mirage blinds. Decided to go with their honeycomb as it allows day and night (blackout) blinds to be integrate as one on top of another. Also, it allows the blinds to be opened from top-down and bottom-up. Furthermore, the air within the cell acts as heat insulator. Perfect
  21. Just came back from Mirage Blinds and took the photo of the laundry system.
  22. I'm using the Philips Easyscene bulbs for the downlight. It's actually quite easy to install as they are standard E27. After installation, you can remote control the bulbs for on/off as well as dim them, no need to install dimmer. A total of 4 groups of bulbs can be controlled using one controller. Also, sharing with you the picture of the remote control set for the LED since I received some many queries.....
