is there any prob with me driving my dad's car? even though i can afford a mthly installment of $400+, i wont go around telling ppl that it's CHEAP! i guess i know how to plan my OWN finances and i certainly DO NOT need anyone to tell me if i shd get one myself or not! if u're tinking that i'm leeching on my dad coz i'm using his car, sorry. u're wrong i give him extra for the petrol and some other expenses that i can afford. it's basically more to lighten his financial burden more than just to get a car of MY OWN i only need a car for transportation, not for boasting in forums. anyway, i'm wasting my time explaining things to u. shdnt expect much from bimbotic minds.

from what i know, some hotels do charge the table of halal food at the normal price. eg since u need prob around 2 tables out of 10 tables for halal, u can ask the hotel/restaurant to make special arrangement my coordinator did tell me before dat if i have 1 or 2 whole tables of vegetarians / halal, they will charge me the same price per table. however, if ur halal guests are scattered all over the tables, they will charge more for it. shortlist the hotels/restaurants u want and give them a ring they might be able to arrange something for u

no lah... i havent got a car of my own yet... now i'm driving my father's car but we did consider getting a car a yr back... and IF we dump 20k, the mthly installments still amt up to 400+ i tink if i din rem wrongly... and pls note it's only a normal korean/japanese car... not those high end ones... still have not decided if we shd get or not... coz after calculations, it is still cheaper not to own a car we'll see our needs and our assets after reno etc then will decide

so far i've not have the chance to drive other cars yet but continental cars definitely is heavier on the wallets

forgive me... i didnt mean it... sometimes it's coz of my fast reflex actions.... true... even after dumping in 20k, the mthly can still be quite high... coz not forgetting the other misc costs dat is not included in the car price... i'm seeing more and more Audi, Merc, BMW and Volvo on the roads!! esp convertible ones!

manual cars need to control clutches very well for some people whose nerve system doesnt link very well, of course safer to take auto license... to prevent any accidents on the road mah... u all know who i'm toking abt ya?

i took more times than u !! almost passed during second time if not for the sudden left filtering !! my circuit was perfect! !! funny how come some students can rem the routes... i cant rem anything when we were told of the routes and asked to take a look at the map !! me oso private student. my instructor stays next blk only so i'm always either the 1st or the last student of the day !!

i never nag at him at all but i feel soo unsafe when he's driving manual anyway, he likes auto cars more... the manual car i'm driving now is my dad's so cant let him try... else langa how? !! we went car hunting few yrs back... all the sales persons assumed dat coz of me he's looking for an auto car !! guess seldom got gals drive manual cars...

ya... he will go Vrroooommm when starting the first gear and when on slope, he will keep VVVrrrrroooommm too to prevent sliding backwards when starting the car, sure die car one

no use... he's been driving auto car for too long... had ever tried driving manual but i tink will have to spend 2 or 3 times more petrol each mth

i agree with this too! but in future if i'm getting a car with hubby, gotta get an auto one coz his manual CMI! my dad says if i have to learn driving, i shd go to the more difficult centre and passed by the difficult way though i take more times than normal ppl, at least i'm more confident can rem once i was on the center lane then the examiner told me to filter left. i immediately just changed lanes, causing cars behind to horn the examiner was

true i took mine at enuos and i passed after few attempts. needless to say, i'm more confident to drive on the road than if i passed the first time got 1 examiner there quite shuai leh though he's uncle already my instructor told me he is known as "han guo zai" in fact i knocked down the pole during parallel parking but when marking, he asked me if i knocked down or hit pole. knocked down more pts. so i said i hit pole nia
