  1. Hi Jango1712 - We spent $2,800 for the Casement Windows. If you looked at my floor plan in page-1, you realised that my unit is windows throughout almost back-to-back. We changed all except the yard and balcony. All in i counted was 26-panes. quite alot! Quality - great. Sturdy. Workmanship - very good too. I wrote a good review in my earlier post. Do i recommend him? Absolutely! You can contact him @ 83888877. Called Ah Soon I think.
  2. How do u take such wide angle photos ah??
  3. What a stunning and awesome apartment!!!! Good job!!!!
  4. Thanks Albert. In the end, my contractor sent his plumber to fix it up. They replaced the rubber seal. Lets hope it stays fixed!
  5. Thanks Astarz. Thanks for the affirmation. Hope those always wanting to try this idea out can take reference and step out to do it. Its really something simple but fresh and appealing. Just want to say that as long as there's a general work light (i.e. on top of the worktop area), one can use the track for the ambience portion. Cheers!
  6. Need some help here. The joint whereby my rainshower joins into the pipe from the wall is leaking. The plumber had fixed three times. Initially it was ok. But after awhile the drip got worst. Like one drip per second the whole place is always wet now. What can be done for remedy?

  8. Pops on the walls are more common at window areas. Made arrangement with contractor to monitor for 1-2 months. So as to observe. He will then return to ratify it when the situation settles. Left the materials in my store. LOL. asked me not to throw it like last time. Hahaha.
  9. True. In actual fact, I'm beginning to like it more and more haha. It's a pretty hardy design. The dining light was purchased at Lightcraft. I paid around $300 if I did not remember wrongly. Pretty unique the way it's slanted to one side. Very much a centre piece. Had good comments from visitors.
  10. Mainly walls near windows. Not sure if seepage of water affects?? Upset that nicely plastered walls are popping. I'll monitor and update all again.
  11. I'm not too sure. Perhaps the original wall paint is already popping or peeling already. Sofa from avenir maison. About $2100 I think. Length is 3m
  12. Yeah the excitement!!! Meanwhile can research and prepare adequately. The more homework done the smoother and more enjoyable the whole process. As well as cost savings!!!
  13. Opps. Anyway if close enough can explore a track instead of individual downlight. Can be expensive on the all in cost.
  14. I thought using track light is considered one point? A 2 meter track can accommodate about 5 modules. But end of day it's still 1 lighting point.
  15. Patches of plastering have been popping out.
  16. Happened for me. Both toilets were renovated and after tiling the doors were both sawed shorter so it closes. Drawback is the exposed wood which will get wet. Think have to find a way to waterproof below.
  17. After 1-month, everything is pretty much shaping up. Although little problems are popping up here and there, we will it fixed and get through it. Think we deserve a good rest for our mind and bodies...
  18. Today was the delivery of:- 1) Sofa - The sofa has defects and will be returned when new stock comes for an exchange. Witheld the payment. 2) TV and Soundbar 3) Frigde Today was also a day to fix up stuff/defects and touch up:- LOCK-SET: Contractor came to help us fix and install a new lock-set for main door when our previous ones had defects and jammed during use. In the end it was nicely installed. He will be assisting me to install the lock-set for the gate next week. Common Toilet Sink: Contractor and his plumber came today to re-install the new sink from L-Pheno. Sadly, upon closer inspection, they realised the replaces sink has a bad crack beneath it. They chose not to install and advised against it. We have arranged for another replacement for next week. Its a wasted trip for the plumber. Thankfully he was cheerful about it. Tile Grout: Had informed that the grout needs more touch up. Early in the morning, we accidently threw away the grout needed which was lest in the yard. Felt really paiseh when they asked for it. In the end the person doing the grout and the my contractor went out specially to buy a packet to help us fill it up (w/o charging us... ) Plastering: An area in the MBR popped out. Contractor chiseled the entire part himself and realised during the previous owners time, the sealant hasnt been applied properly and this caused the old paint to pop and in turn every new things that went ontop of it. Instead of arranging the plastere to come, which will cause a long delay, he decided to help us patch up quite an area of wall. The end result looks even smoother than the initial plastering. Hahaah... what a talented contractor. You would have realised he fixed my lock, fixed the leaks and is now doing plastering...lol good one la. Stainless Steel laudry pulley system: Fixed up. Looks good and was able to fit my tiny yard. That's the reason why I stopped selling it in the forum.
  19. Today the Window Blinds came. Gotten a contact in Malaysia to fabricate for us. Blinds were done for Living Room and MBR. Very good quality and well fabricated. Also did a curtain cover for the walk-in-wardrobe. However, I forgot to take a picture to share. Will do so soon.
  20. The color used for my feature wall is NIPPON SolaReflect Argent 0725. It sometimes have a greenish hues when lights are involved.
