  1. We are buying the display items, that's got it cheap. Is made of solid wood c/w stainless steel leg. Similar to below picture but just that the legs are a bit curvy not straight. http://www.loftdesign.co.nz/wp-content/themes/Emporium/thumb.php?src=http://external.neocom.geek.nz/webranger/loft/wp-content/uploads/products_img/20.jpg&w=336&zc=1&q=80&bid=1 (not posting the picture due to copyright) Melvyn said he will do some touch up before have them delivered, so I think it is ok, and we felt that it is indeed quite comfortable despite made of wood, and and, it is something diff from the ordinary bar stools, I personally like to be diff, hahaha!! If you want to get something affordable, can try http://www.beds.sg/living-room/bar-stool.html
  2. I can't, my reno starts 3-4 weeks later and I need to start my DIY wallpapering also, so must ship back the goods soonest possible.
  3. I am actually plan to get HH6310SS and HG782, the price is $1018 from the brochure c/w 2 years warranty. I will call Everjoint to find out their price. We too seldom cook, but we are getting the expensive hood simply because of the chimney and the curve glass design.
  4. I probably spend too much on the dining table, but I really love the design, is like a french style stainless steel leg. Here goes a similar photo:
  5. also been to U-Home yesterday (did so much things yesterday hur ), chosen the WC, basin, sink and other kitchen and bathroom accessories. But realised that their stuff are abit expensive, a multi-way adjustable kitchen tap cost me additional $8o plus (p/s on top of the ordinary kitchen tap in my reno package). So decided to get from TB instead at RMB82.80 > here is the picture: Then the lady boss quote me additional $160 for 707 Compact heater (on top of the Champ civic heater in my reno package), check with the lady boss about the price, $259!! Give a call to Everjoint right away and they quote me only $179. So much difference, must confront the uncle reno liao!! I think I will also check with Everjoint about the price for the Hobz cooker hood and hob, the lady boss quote me about $1028, will update the price at my blog. (p/s: putting much effort now to fight back my blog
  6. Yesterday also visited S&C at Ang Mo Kio, find that the boss Melvyn is quite a nice yet frank person. So far placed order for a dining table with 6 seats at $1000, TV console and coffee table at $900, shoe rack at $280, 2 bar stools at $100
  7. Hehe, just joking la.. I saw the bladless fan from TB, in fact the packing is not that big, but the comments are not too good. Anyway considering the price, I am getting one of this toy for my living, is a LOVE shape one.. Thanks Jass for the inspiration
  8. I realised that a lot of ppl hijack my T-blog
  9. Have still struggle on whether to use inverter or non-inverter type. Even I intend to instal in 3 bedrooms, but I guest only the MBR will turn on probably 6 hours a day. The other bedrooms mainly for display unless parents or friends/relatives stay overnight. And I calculate that it saves probably $10-$15 electricity bill per month based on my usage, and it takes 5 years to "payback" the difference between the inverter and non-inverter type. But but, I think inverter is more quiet, and so called "last longer" than those non-inverter. So how to choose?? I read that a lot of peoples (even those staying in condos) are still buying the non-inverter type and I really don't understand why, I means that $600 is not much in view that you are using it for 5 years or more, just $42 by 0% 12-mth instalment plan... Another things that I struggle is the brand, initially wanted Mitsuibishi, then when at All Best, that fellow recommend Panasonic to me, then when read some threads got comments said that Toshiba a good brand, then Daikin comes in later. $%^&*#@ Don't know what to choose, but Mitsuibishi's easyclean is good, any other model has the same??
  10. Should I instal the aircond while doing the reno?
  11. Happy shopping, and my sincere apology for the BUY-BUY-BUY virus infection
  12. Okie, so let say you are placing the orders today, you probably be able to get the stuff before end of this month provided that you go by AIR. Normally air shipment takes about a week from Shanghai to Singapore or something lesser than a week, but you must also take into consideration of the time you need to arrange payment for the goods, the time spend for the seller to courier the goods to your agent in Shanghai, and the time agent takes to deliver the goods to your home. So if you are in rush, best to check the comments on the seller (I means sometime you see buyers complaint about slow delivery etc...), and best to get from Shanghai sellers which delivery can be faster generally. SEA shipment takes about 1-2 weeks longer than AIR, you can find out these information from 65Daigou website der. Hope this helps
  13. Is about S$10 per pack of Henkel powder from Homefix of Self-fix, i think it's enough for 20-25 sqm, I remember that I need 3 packs for 14 rolls, haven't buy so no comment on the quality. But Henkel is a well-known brand for these stuff..
  14. Hope it help..
  15. Stop!!!! 1. is buying from Goodrich cheaper? 2. is no one else selling out there? 3. or is Goodrich owned by your friends/relatives? Why must buy from Goodrich and not Homefix or other DIY shop? I initially thought it is kind of super glue with fancy design and strongest adhesive plus fragrance smell, but when you tell me is a powder type and has to mix with water, I think it has not much diff from the ordinary one from DIY shop. Dont understand la..
  16. So what about Jass? Doubt if she need to get from Da Er Long??!!
  17. Jass, I realised that you got more items than me and I really not that happy, especially you show off at my Di Pan! Joking, just that you got a nice wallpaper for your bombshelter, I didn't saw this kind of stuff during my TB hunting.. Bit regret of buying something else. And your bladless fan really a good deal, you know how much the price tag in SG right, probably also 248 but in SGD LOL!! Mind to share the packing size?
  18. No no, I got only 3 bottles of Henkel undercoat wallprotector, cost me 3.9kg on damage (p/s: damage on shipping is higher than the cost itself ) The adhesive powder will get from Homefix, is also Henkel brand. How much roughly your glue cost (from Goodrich)?
  19. Seriously speaking, I want extraordinary design for WC and basin and at cheap price, but where got such thing? Thought of buying from Taobao but the shipping will make you fainted der lo... So how, go back to basic, next time got $$ then change LOL
