  1. Hi, Anyone bought from parishomeonline? hows was the furniture? good quality>?
  2. Plug into your LED downlight?? thought you are asking if you can change your halogen bulbs to LED bulbs? <<== yes, you can.
  3. Yes, you can. Brightness, according to my clients, is better after installing the LED bulbs. Note: although both magnetic and electronic transformers work with LED bulbs, the former is preferred.

  5. Hi guys, Just like to get an idea how much it costs to do up a 1100 square feet EC. works include: feature wall and TV console, false ceiling L-box in living, dining and 3 bedrooms, Study table in one bedroom, curtains. not sure if i miss out anything... Design: Contemporary(Simple) Thanks in advance~!
  6. Batman: Yes, some families do not switch on their lights for 8 hours daily.... I am simply using a figure which i believe to be average. Some families do switch on their lights more than 8 hours a day. e.g. early in the morning while preparing breakfast or preparing for work, when going to bathroom, when preparing food in kitchen during late afternoon etc etc etc.... Thus end of day, how much you save depends how much u use ur lights... But the fact is you do save on your electricity bills when u use LEDs instead of other forms of lightings. eaglef18: Oh yes, when LED downlights etc fails, 99.9% of the times its because of the LED driver. So its very important to get a good quality driver. The next assurance is to get longer warranty.
  7. Just like to start this thread to share my personal opinion on why I will be choosing LED lightings/downlights for my home when its TOP next year. Do note that I also have business interest in LED lightings. Advantages of PLC low energy consumption relatively easy to replace when bulbs blows Disadvantages of PLC contains hazardous mercury have to replace blown bulbs every 6 months to 2 years. Mean being 9 months. Advantages of LED Clean and green lighting Even lower energy consumption Don't really need to replace as most LEDs last 35,000 to 50,000 hrs Disadvantages of LED higher initial costs Weighing the above, I will say LED looks like the winner(in my own opinion). At this moment, the price difference between LED downlights and PLC downlights is actually not huge. Considering 9W LED downlight and a 2 x 13W PLC downlight(with similar brightness), LED cost $56 while PLC cost $35. With savings of $14 per downlight if you switch on your lights for 8 hours daily, your breakeven is within 2 years. And yes, you reduce your carbon footprint too.
  8. Hi, Just sharing. Will you like to consider replacing your downlights to LED downlights? you can visit www.ledazzled.com for more infomation on the prices. A 10W LED downlight costs S$48 and comes with 3 years warranty.
  9. just to share my experience, if you don't want the hassle of JB shopping and want the assurance and convenience of buying from Singapore, you can consider www.ledazzled.com. A 9W Samsung LED downlight costs $56 and comes with 3 years warranty.
  10. hi, it looks good. no complains about it.

  11. Hi, how is the led down light after installation?

  12. Hi Batman, Hmmm.... Actually can save a bit more than 10w... And I do use my lights more than 4 hours per day... So not going into exact calculations, LED lights does works for me.. Also in my opinion, Led looks nicer and it's clean Eco lighting. Mercury(in PLC) is bad for our earth...
