ps guys, long time no update my reno process. met with a few hiccups here and there with HDB. And this ping pong with them has caused me almost 2mths worth of wait plus approval. i fast forward abit if you all dun mind. and along the way, you can ask me anything in regards to reno. i am not very good with words.

Most use parquet some. But. I am using homo tile.

not sure if you got a good price. i got mine at $4900 total there are 7 panels of windows for my EM, 3 on top 4 bottom. Got my white powder coated with dark tint sliding windows and sliding grills. of which 2 panels at the corridor is frosted for privacy. using 2mm thick aluminum for my grills.i dunno market price but i find it reasonable bah. so i guess , you got a good price since its casement and got toliets as well

well , basically, we wack the whole house, initally wanted to keep lvl 2 flooring and the staircase, to save some $$. but in the end , FS not really good for us , so HACK. We also wanted an open concept kitchen. but this style is stuiable for family who cook less often or just for show only. Not pratical as advise by my ID. So he suggested half wall with glass panel. Got the open kicth concept, plus able to keep the cooking within the kitchen. FS also good. all in all, the hacking and clearing of debris took 1 week.
