  1. My bosch oven. I turned it on and did not know how to configure it...going to spend the weekend figuring how to use it. My 3 fave bulbs: Where my sink is, and the hole is for the induction hob. 3 red chairs that I randomly bought..no idea where to place them.
  2. Laminates and cupboard doors are up! went for 2 shades of brown for the cupboard doors and black as background. Heng it did not turn out bad (could not visualise it in my head, was actually randomly hantaming the colours...think my contractor got a section wrong though but still random! empty space for fridge to go in. Additional shelves on the side to put plates/bowls/cups and maybe a nespresso machine! Storage under the kitchen island/ dining area:
  3. I ordered the Elevate 6 piece set but it was out of stock overseas..where are you getting yours? And also very lucky you got your caeserstone, the colour I wanted was out of stock...so i went for granite .
  4. got mine for 1.1k, i heard rumours that prices has gone up, might want to check. I got mine from jerome, look for his thread on renotalk
  5. Happy 2013! May all or most of our reno dreams come true!
  6. i think there is warm, warm white and daylight no? i'm also super confused. i'm going for the in between one, the one that is not too white and the one that is not too yellow. i think it's called warm white (so not sure)....anyway, my take is buy something where u can change the light bulb, so don't like just change. my living area is actually a mixture of lights, mostly is warm white, but my dining bulbs are all just white. the grafunkt lights are not my main lights...i using LED down lights, 2 per room, probably not enough.
  7. the spotlights are actually warm lights, the bulbs are warm white. now only having issues with inner living room lights and bedroom lights a bit dark ... but those areas don't really need to be lit...
  8. amazon does not ship some knives/ knife related items to Singapore....anyway, looking forward to your purchases...it's sometimes cheaper ordering from overseas...sometimes.

  11. most exciting was when my lights went up...been very scared of how everything will look, just cannot visualise how lights will make the place feel....glad to report it feels extremely homey! Specially bought bulbs: First 2 dining table lights up! All three are up! View from the lights left: And View from the right: and when it's lit up! YAY!
  12. Getting used to the grills already. Plus it looks pretty nice from outside the flat! Arrived this morning at my flat and was very happy to see all the carpentry being installed...as well as the lights and my haiku fan. Yay! Contractor also had to install my island hood....not easy...especially since my ceiling/beam and flooring not even one. Sat around and watched everyone work for a while...the detail that goes into pasting a laminate and finishing electrical points, wow, one laminate takes so long to paste on, sanding and sanding the edges again to get it straight....sheesh.

  24. White feels more like scandinavian/Japanese deco. Grey/stainless steel/black/wood and thinking about raw textures are more industrial.
