  1. I think depends on ur intended move in date. Quite a few of the curtain ppl I spoke with have a lead time of a few weeks.
  2. Nice! Lots of carpentry. What's the flooring in the wiw area? Looks interesting in the light
  3. Hee. So resourceful that he found local supplier willing to match price! Will ur home be giving free token?
  4. Haha support to get the arcade! Your place will certainly be very interesting hehe
  5. Hi janyen, My first TB shipment which included sinks (kitchen and bathroom), all my faucets and lighting, and 2 tolix chairs (cannot be flat packed) was 0.95 cubic metre. Shipping cost was $243 This TB shipment which has a lot more bulky items as you can see - and other items like edison bulbs and posters and canvas paintings - came up to 1.43 cubic metre. Shipping cost is $309 Based on this experience, I think it's worth buying bulky stuff on TB.
  6. About the installation cost, there are some service providers who will absorb this cost if you sign a 24 month contract with them. But viewquest don't offer this I think.
  7. WMF is not suitable for cooking over gas ah? Happy call pot looks good. Hope it works as good as the frying pan heh Oh why didn't you get the lamp! Yue Minjun replica? PS the bathroom looks very resort. Well done!
  8. I've been waiting very patiently for my second tb bounty. Submitted my order to peeka in late Aug. Finally received update from Peeka that all my items have arrived at china warehouse and being shipped out to Singapore. About six weeks wait so far. Wee! Some glimpses of the loot from Peeka staff who were nice to oblige me to take pics heh Coffee table in some sort of recycled wood with white wash Concrete looking side console. Had to have it once I saw it on tb TV console with metal and wood elements! Really been looking high and low for something industrial looking in Singapore and found in on tb instead Really happy with how this piece looks in the pic. Hope it arrives safely Open sesame! Was thinking of distressing the metal and add in some brass/gold finishing similar to the tolix chair I got heh
  9. Someone here posted a unique pattern to lay the subway tiles if you are concerned with it looking too common - which I kinda agree too.
  10. Ya I can understand the hesitation. I went through that myself. That's why I did the kitchen back-er panels. I think it will make cleaning a whole lot simpler. At the very worst, if it gets too ridiculous to maintain, then may consider epoxy resin at a later stage See how la
  11. Thanks! I have no clue whether chalkboard paint is compatible in the kitchen but I have an extra tub and some part of the kitchen wall is already painted with it. So what the heck. Lol
  12. Haha dunno why on mobile phone the pics are like that Hope u can DIY stairs/steps for your plants. It looked very good in the shop!
  13. Such inspiring DIY work! Hope to accomplish some DIY stuff once I move in.
  14. On the bright side, I had a very inspiring trip. Sharing some industrial looks with reno-talkers
  15. I think I am super suay. Came back after a week of travelling and the concealed gas pipe leak has been rectified Which resulted in this plastered wall - which looks pretty terrible So I bid farewell to this concrete plastered wall (leaving behind two other walls) And it's going to be painted in black chalkboard paint Only to find that there was a small leak in one of the joints of the water pipe Fortunately it was a realy tiny leak. False ceiling is damp but salvage-able. And now my gas water heater can't turn on... I hear the sound of dollars flying out of my wallet.
  16. You can check the link and add about 20-30% extra for the peeka costs. So prob around 90 bucks each. From the list of stuff that I bought (can see at the previous pages) - I barely even hit one cubic metre volume which is the minimum. Think 4 stackable chairs and a bench shouldn't be a problem.
  17. Although the paint will be covered by the wiw, I really like the grey! Heh
  18. It is assembled and not flat packed. The chairs are stackable though. So peeka used the remaining space in the box to pack other items!
  19. Most important is that you like them! Yeah same dilemma - either a bench or two more too I saw this interesting short bench at comfort furniture which I'm pretty tempted by Link here
  20. Hey blackpeace, I'm quite satisfied with the tolix chair from this seller. To me, this seller is a safe bet. However to be objective, I have not bought any other items from this seller though!
  21. Ya I think I might get a couple in a different colour for the remaining dining seats. What colours did u get?
