Hey, we have similar problems with our 37 yr old flat too when we got the keys. We called the town council, got pushed to branch office and bounced back to town council again b4 we finally got help from the town council. The town council guy came, inspected and told us he'll get someone to fix it since its a external wall seepage problem. We waited 2 months for him to get the work done. Reason: 'It keeps raining every day'. Anyway, they erected gondolas and fixed the problem from the outside.

Absolutely agree! After engaging him, I almost became the main con myself.. looking back, i'll rather spend the money and find a better (albeit more ex) main con or even ID to do the job... Just remember to follow up all your conversations with him with an SMS text.. it'll back u up a little and less arguments along the way... feel that there are many generous and kind souls here whom readily give him the benefit of doubt to say that he is forgetful... i can only say 日久见人心.

I ordered 2 units of Honeywell Long-Life Pure HEPA QuietCare Air Purifier, 17000 for my living and bedroom on Amazon on expedited shipping. After ordering, I reckon the 17000 will not be adequate for my living room, hence i ordered another 50250. I emailed Amazon to cancel one of the 17000 unit, however it is being shipped and I can only return when they deliver to my house. I read from earlier posts that Amazon had ran out of stock for this model and they are now supplying from another retailer whom is selling at higher price. I am not here to profit from this haze, hence anyone keen can get the unit from me at at old selling price of US$100.79 + shipping costs (shared). Yup. Totally no updates till the very last min and the subcon just suddenly appear. We ever tried asking for a schedule but at most he can only let u know what will be for the next 2-3 days. Mostly pretty adhoc arrangements. Can I know where u got ur Bosch drill? Needed one to fix some shelves. Nv buy b4, nv use b4 :x Is it difficult?

I read thru ur post and found ur experiences amazingly similar to mine! Forgetful, empty promises (he forgets what he promised), ever-extending deadlines (he forgets the deadline agreed), negligence (he forgets about my house) etc... It nv came across my mind to put my grievances down until I saw urs! All along I read mostly good things about him and tot that I am the exception! Got to constantly nag at him to get things done. After nagging, must follow up with SMS in case he forgets, no follow-up on the matter, must remind again. And still got to text him again to ask him not to forget. It was quite a torturous process to be honest. I tink that he has forgotten that this is his job and we still have our own job that requires our time and attention as well. Like u, we ended up monitoring the renovations on-site every single day and coordinating with all the subcons to make sure everything is on schedule. Before that we had so many reworks until we are scared!!

As what others have mentioned here, I couldn't choose AmazonGlobal Saver, hence wrote in to customer svc... advice is the same.. I also asked the customer service to confirm that the items in my shopping carts are eligible for free shipping b4 proceeding... at least everything in black and white..
