Yes, you can. Just have to buy a chimney hood and inform your ID or contractor when they are designing your kitchen..

Hi, I was told the same thing, but can be reduced by changing to a display cabinet above and shoe cabinet below.. Therefore at first glance, nobody will know its a shoe cabinet below the display cabinet.

I think they mean that the living hall is big as compared to the 4-room... Cos I also peek into one of the 5-room, think is the same unit, and gosh, their living room is big.. Probably they took away the study room..

The living room is really abit small, then dunno is our eyesight got problem or really is the case, I find that our living room seems shorter and smaller than others.. But the toliets the colour seems much more acceptable to me now.. Haha, now dun think will need to overlay or spray the toliets flooring and tiles..

But I think if handover liao, means can't even see liao, cos all the doors will be locked and the keys will be passed to HDB then they will get ready to release the keys..

Hi Dorcas, We 'sneak' in.. sooo only went to our unit, I am not so sure for blk 26B, but i guess should be ready very soon as well, but do be careful of the barricades, rather hard, cos we are sneaking in, if hurt in any way, it is our own responsibility.. The barricades are down for the carpark, so we actually went in from the carpark.. But if your unit is very high, i not sure how to sneak in liao, cos my unit (low floor) is accessible from the carpark.. Any blk 27A neighbours from balloting exercise receive notification to collect their keys?

All 26D neighbours, I have good news! Yesterday, I brought my family to see our flat (sneak in, of cos ), and inside our flat, we chat with the workers and found out that they will be handling Blk 26D over today! Not sure to who, must be either to the main contractors, otherwise HDB cos the flat is very clean already! I think we can await the keys liao.. Not sure when, but should be able to get within the next 2-3 months bah, after the SERS group.. But after bringing my family there, lots of comments (as usual), but made us rethink how to renovate the flat. We went to scorpy's flat as well, like your tiles, very nice.. Also to the level 6 show flat. The owner is rather nice to let the contractor/ID turn their house into show flat cum sales office.. !! Seriously, i don't mind to showcase my flat in future, but not turn to a sales office ..

Few years back, i used to take bus no. 195 from my previous work place to Tiong Bahru MRT and pass by the contruction site very often, but i never tot i will live there at tat time.. haha... After seeing all your tiles shopping here, i want to go SBH to take a look.. !! My hubby will me for spoiling his original plan today.. keke..

Yah, exceed our initial budget, we are still considering whether to do the study table, hanging cabinet and the bench with storage and dining feature.. If take away, probably less another $4k..

I like cold tiles, i prefer cold to hot.. Then maybe also because abit scared off by those termites stories, so right from the beginning I already fixed on getting homogenous tiles instead of laminates (me lah!), though my hubby prefer laminates.. hehehe.. But after some negotiation and threatening , my hubby agree to go homogenous..

No, we reviewed the quotation, yesterday finally settled with $33k quotation and we signed to secure the current expo package without having to pay for the 7% GST also, saved around $2k, plus the last expo package we secured when we paid for the drawings, total we saved about $4k.. Our package includes : Standard package for HDB new flats (those standard items, painting etc.) The additionals are here.. - TV feature wall with laminates - Mirror with backing at dining - Built in bench c/w drawers at dining area - Shoe rack with settee and glass display - Household shelter feature wall - Suspended study table and top hung wall unit bookshelf - Bay bed c\w drawer - Shelving at bay bed - Glass sliding door at kitchen - Low height cabinet - Glass shower screen at MBR bathroom - Wall paper for MBR Not the cheapest quote though, but like xlan mentioned, its the communication and trust with my ID that made us signed up.. And we really like get quite a good deal..
