yup,u r right. the shoe cabinet is facing the main door. er,regarding the stove,my fsm recommend me to swap the position of my sink and stove..(so the sink will be about 3-4feet away from the fridge. although will ended up the sink facing window,he says its ok to let the sink face the window, the main impt thing is the stove. its has to be there cos of me and my wife's bazi) anyone place the sink beside the fridge? tiles was delivered last wed(7th Nov). The workers are fast, did some knocking already. i cant use "dong tu" date given by FSM.. nobody at fault. my fault cos initially i dont want to see fengshui,so ask my ID to start work. Then 2 days later,changed my mind and look for FSM. requested my ID to stop work for a week. they are going to start tomorrow again

its not beside the kitchen wall, its the side at the living room entrance but now, my FS master says we cannot do this way cos this will make us "xin xiong xia zhai"

ops, my shoe rack cant place beside the door already. my Fengshui master told me to put in front of the door (at the Foyer there)..hmm..there may be a change of alot of design already lol My kitchen going to be a L-Kichen instead my dining area initially wanted to put L-mirror,but was told to put mirror on 1 side only my bedhead direction also need to be changed now i know where is my wealth location and water location..hehe. but think cost a bomb to buy those fengshui stuff, hai

my fengshui master is located at tiong bahru plaza level 3. they have another branch at imm also. i dunno if they r good or not, but their main shifu is the guy who always appear in the tv during chinese new year. i got his disciple to do the fengshui for me. his bookings for the fengshui is quite pack, think shld be ok bah

i cant move in ah,need to wait till customary then can move in..my customary is on Sep08..still have long way to go. but cant wait to see my hse finished with all the furniture in.hehe

heard that money will go out easily if place directly the window (meaning whatever money comes in will goes out fast), tmr i am seeing my fengshui master, will double check with him

washing machine, recommended to use europe brand.. (i heard this from alot of departmental stores) for me,most pple recommended me to use Bosch, so i bought Bosch already

ya..most probably is 1feet away from the fridge, but its still near to the fridge, sigh..

hi gadgetgal, no reason la, actually thought of doing a built in oven in tall cabinet, but afraid that i dont have much work space.. so do a oven mounted on the wall will do, at least at the bottom of the oven i still can have some workspace oh ya the layout of my kitchen may change. ie my stove will be shifted to near the fridge..cos i think fengshui shifu dont allow the stove to be there cos its facing the window

Our first impression of Baroque is.. From their website, reno looks v pricey.. First appt with Baroque @ Joo Chiat, we are a walk in customer. Was attended by Lawrence. Told him our budget and what we want. Find that he is a cheerful and experienced guy. 2nd appt, we went back to see him in 2 weeks time. He provided us 4 pieces of 3D drawings. V impressive cos this is the only company that provides so many 3D drawings and didnt even request for any deposits. While we are discussing through our first quotation, i was telling myself that if this quote is $18k, i will sign up on the spot. (at that time, our first quote is $18k). My wife was thinking abt the same thing also. If 18k we will sign. After discussing the quote, we are all shocked to see the price..lol, really $18k. er...but we didnt sign on the spot eventually la. Cos some other ID companies we have visited still havent get back to us. Signed with Baroque in another 2 weeks later after visiting a showflat done by them. My ID - Lawrence Tan
