I initially wanted to get the Eubiq track for my place when I saw their road show at Kallang Leisure Park during August. However, the Sales Manager attitude and lack of knowledge from their staff was quite appalling and it made me steer clear of them. Morever, their tracks are nice looking and everything but I am not sure of the durability and after sales service, hence I decided not to take up. Hope that you wont get into more trouble from Eubiq,

Well done!! Your new home looks super comfy and nice. I also will like to ask if you have any links on buying Marvel posters from Tabao. As from my Avatar picture, I am a big Iron Man and Marvel fans...it will be really cool to have affordable and nice posters being hung in the house,

I realise some people may be like me...get good lobang contacts then keep...then try to look for "better" lobang. I relate a short story to you in your blog here...sorry to hijack. I met a 50++ year old uncle by chance outside before I made an appointment to meet Gary. He was very nice and explained to me everything about LED technology and etc. I was pretty moved by him and even made a $500 transfer to his company account with no receipt or quotation. Then later after doing more research on the net and some lighting shops, I realised this uncle has knowledge but...not all is correct and he was very convincing when he said it to me. To sum up: 1) I bought some round ceiling lights from him amounting to $300 plus and the balance to be returned to me by cheque. 2) Lucky I did not buy my downlights from him as he quoted me $40 for 5W LED downlight and $50 for 7W LED downlight. (Total is around $1500++ !!) Lucky for me, the uncle was not pushy and he never force me to buy his lights which only consist of 1 or 2 patterns...no variety as he do trading and sell many other things. Then I met Gary and realised I will really save a lot if I buy from Gary. Thank you Shor for your kindness in sharing....you are not Gary himself hor hahaha. I am just kidding, -

Care to share how you got to know him? -

Thanks for the photos Shor and I deeply appreciate it. I am also thinking of getting the 10w or 12w LED downlights but I am leaning towards the 12w. Did you also install the 12w LED downlights for your bedroom? Was it too bright? I am still thinking whether to choose the circle or square LED downlights....headache hahaha. -

Dear Shor, will you kindly advise how is the condition of your LED Downlights (Samsung LED Chip, Meanwell driver) so far? Any flickering? Are they still functioning well and bright? When you buy more, did you get more discounts from Gary? Thanks and looking forward to your reply. -

Hi Bro, I am interested in installing a Samaire's Dortmund 49 inch ceiling fan for my MBR. (is this size acceptable?) Will you kindly quote me the price of the fan with installation plus brochure if you have it via soft copy? I understand this fan has 3 modes of lighting and can let me know on some general feedback too? I am also looking at installing ceiling fan for my living room and another 2 bedrooms (BTO 4 bedroom)- 2,867 replies

Hi Korilala, I saw that you have installed the Samaire ceiling fan, can I check how is the feedback on it at the moment? The wind speed for this fan is really strong on the 49 inch one which I intend to install in my MBR. Will you let me know how much you got yours for? Thank you for your help.

I totally agree. Initially I wanted to scrimp on this but ended up paying $30/ft for all my wardrobe, kitchen, consoles, basically everything that has carpentry to have a nice grey internal PVC.

Congrats for a smooth renovation. Mine will start in Sept after my wedding and looking forward to you barrage of photos update very soon.

Hi Mrs Lee, can I ask if you have any photos of the installed lights that you got from Project Electrical? Are the quality good? Thank you as I will be getting my lightings soon from JB despite the announcement of JB fees for cars soon. I was wondering if getting the korean down-lights will be a better choice....

Mega Discount Store at Kallang is good and the price is really good. Will be getting my electronic stuff from there too later this year as they give good service even though if you are just browsing. -
Excellent and I love your blog. I put my deposit for Air-Con with All Best and I also hope for the "best" too but so far I have friends who feedback that they are alright.

Thanks for your post on this shop. I went to their shop at Geylang over the weekend and I agree with you that they have some unique items with good pricing. After sales service is very important and dishonesty cannot be tolerated. Even though your post is many years back, I appreciate your kind warning to fellow formers here.

Wow and you are living so close to your parents. I am still waiting to tie down with my ID and my defects only tomorrow then can complete. On a good side, I went to spot check last night and the guy, Danny in charge of 523B (Soilbuild Contractor) is pretty on the ball. Most of my defects are already ok and cross my fingers everything will be completed on time.

Great progress Charis!! My unit at Tampines Greenleaf too...block 523B Level 14, 4 Roomer here. My unit still pending for defects rectification and should be done by this Wed. I hope to start my reno soon too and hope to see your completed reno soon. Please keep us updated with beautiful photos,

The "before" photo of your house actually looks pretty good. It must be a pity to tear it down and also the house is using "S" shaped cornice and same as my parents house which is the "in thing" about 10 plus years back. "S" shaped cornice still looks good though even after many years.

Hi Everyone, I have seen this company, In-Expat finished project for BTO and the quality is pretty good. However, there is GST and their pricing is pretty reasonable. Can anyone advise me if I should go with them? Their website URL: http://in-expat.com.sg/aboutus.html Thanks in advance.

Nice and hope the reno journey is smooth for you. Looks like an earthquake in your house now from the picture,
