my kitchen wall tiles from hdb (i think) started popping and dropping off. it was previously concealed by the previous owner with a false wall / board. I haven done anything to it since I took over the house. and when the tiles pop off, it broke the false wall as well. attached a picture below showing what i mean. anyone has any recommendations of contractor that will take on this type of repair work ?

Just got my house which is right next to expressway.... and seems like the noise from the expressway is going to be a problem to us. anyone have any creative ideas how to reduce noise besides closing the window and switching on the air con?

i was looking at the Thematic Minimalism done by intradesign really like the artistic ceiling fan in the living room. does anyone here knows where is that fan from? hasnt seen any fan like this before....

I heard that to apply for a 3rm flat, theres a condition that the total income cannot exceed $3000 per mth. Is that true? as my gf and I are thinking of applying for a 3rm flat.
